I will use a black wig in my opening sequence, and this will be one of the main props. I will have my central character wearing this as it connotes that they are trying to be someone else, and this synergises to the enigma. The wig has been encoded to suggest that the central character is trying be a certain person and ruin their life, however the audience may decode it and they could say that the wig has been put in place because the central character may be running from something or someone, and so has to change her identity for some reason. The central character will also be wearing a wig cap underneath the wig to hold her hair in place, so that it looks professional not forgetting that it makes the wig look more realistic so that people think that it is her real hair.

The makeup is another important prop that I am going to use in my opening sequence. There are two parts that the makeup will be used in. The central character will use day-to-day makeup, to look almost identical to the character she is trying to become, and this will include, mascara, lip-gloss, foundation etc. The Halloween makeup and the dark eye shadow on the other hand will be used for bruises on another characters face. This is because the central character will kidnap this person and will beat her up (this will not be shown on screen).

The victim in my opening sequence will be wearing black leggings and a black short sleeve top. I have chose this because it connotes that she is in darkness, and also it could connote that what happens changes her character. It is very casual clothing and this has been encoded to connote that she is a casual, and normal person.
