IVY BLUE – SERIAL KILLER The props this character will be using in our opening sequence are: Journal – This will demonstrate that she feels isolated from the world as

she is schizophrenic it will also show she is being taken over by the voices as we see close ups of what goes on in her mind.

Pill bottle – This is needed to show to the audience she is on medication and may impose a threat to society. In our title sequence she is seen in a state of panic when she learns that her pills have finished which demonstrates that she may still be conscious and responsible of her own health and actions.

Watch – The serial killer will also be wearing a watch to show her obsessive behavior as she is very organized and has a plan for most of her days and even has her first murder panned which we see in her journal. We also want to show the time the murder happens with a close up of the watch.

This character will be dressed in a ordinary top and comfortable black jeans. As she is an orphan we want to keep these characters simple as they would not be entitled to many pairs of clothing in an orphanage. This will also imply that she is not concerned about her appearance and instead prefers to be in her room and have contact with only a couple of people (Marissa Castillo).

MARISSA CASTILLO - VICTIM This character will have a : Back pack – This will be her main prop as we want the audience

to know she is going over to the orphanage for a aspect linked to school. Her backpack will also show her innocent and the bright colors of the bag will conflict the dullness of Ivy Blue.

Necklace – This will be a symbol of love something that Ivy blue is not familiar with as the audience may be able to relate to a special object given by a family member. Lastly this will immediately imply that she on the other hand is not an orphan and has a loving family.

The victim will be wearing a more colorful attire which consists of both a jeaned buttoned up shirt and jeans. She will then have a light pink jumper which she will be either holding or wearing around her waist. We have chosen comfortable cloths as she is essentially going to study with Ivy Blue

ORPHAN - ZOEThis is an insignificant character shown mainly for the audience, to demonstrate our main location is orphanage and she may have no privacy , however, she still manages to get away with things such as murders.

Costume:The young orphan will be dressed in a black hoodie, black jeans, black shoes as she is seen for split second we don’t want the audience to focus on her, instead we want to show her fear and anxiety and want to effectively show that Ivy Blue may have people to talk to, however, she choses not too. As Ivy blue will also be wearing black this also links back to the location. As the house is an orphanage we want to show them dressing alike as they essentially may have lived there for their entire life with no opinion that matters.

OBJECTS The only object we will need to purchase is fake blood as we will be ending the scene with Ivy Blue in the bathroom experiencing a surreal event.

Fake blood – This is needed to film our task scene in the bathroom. As we have chosen a psychological thriller a mind game will be played with our main character, Ivy Blue. As she suffers from schizophrenia and psychosis the audience will immediately learn she suffers from a condition as they as placed in her position experiencing what the voices convince her of living.
