Conclusions
When EUL Channel is enabled, UL interference from HSUPA users increased
hence consequently Ue requires higher UL Tx Power for R99 users This is affected by the condition where RACH Preamble power increase by 2 dB to 6
dB needed to setup a call
UE TX power increases of 3-6, dB in order to keep the AMR call on the same quality
target
Higher UE TX Power degrades the UL interference situation further: Increase UE TX power in response to increase UL interference caused by HSUPA
If the UL interference caused by HSUPA users is higher than the interference
assumption in Link budget calculation, access performances at the cell edge may
degrade
