“Our goal is to promote a safe and welcoming environment to improve the quality of campus life
for everyone learning and working at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.”
Proposal
Increase campus security to ensure all learners and workers are safe on Green Bay’s campus.
Why?Colleges around the United States:• 2014 – 27 campus shootings• 2015 – 23 campus shootings
NWTC Crimes:• 2011 – 22 thefts and 1 forcible sex offense• 2012 – 22 thefts• 2013 – 1 motorcycle theft and 9 other related thefts

How?1) Stop replacing the vents with glass windows. Replace the
current doorknobs with doorknobs that can lock from the inside.
2) Provide the CampusSafe app to all learners and workers.3) Invest in a printer that makes access ID badges.
