Lady Best Ministries is a 501 C3 non-profit organization we will be presenting our 1st Annual Multicultural Convention The Woman, The Wife, The First Lady . This year we have decided to bring 10,000 First Ladies to fellowship in Houston, Texas this will begin our ten city tour for the year 2014. The success of this event is credited largely to our corporate underwriting and sponsorships, who lend their names and financial support to our events. The money we raise each year enables us to minister to pastor wives around the country and all over the world who represents all denominations. Our mentoring and leadership skills help these women both physically and spiritually who finds themselves in abusive situations. This year The Woman, The Wife, The First Lady Convention will be focusing in many different areas such as Abuse, Homelessness, Unemployment, and, Healthcare. We are advocates for these women and have a support groups that will help them with counseling needs as well other programs helping them to be able to continue to live a normal life after coming out of and abusive home or situation. We are raising and bring nationwide awareness to women all over the world and providing help an information about abuse in all areas which can be deceptively, devastating and, often fatal impacting women who have no resources. Our main focus has turned to pastor wives and their families. Because Pastors wives play and have a major role in both our churches and communities being looked at as role models but not having any resources of their own to seek help in the time of trouble. Our goal is to empower 10,000 women through education classes, drama, singing, pampering, counseling and an elegant ceremony to close out this event. We are dedicated in this ministry to helping these women get to a safe place if there come a time of need. The Woman, The Wife, The First Lady Convention will offers support to women by empowering them in all areas cooping with abuse in any form. Preventing domestic violence against women through women empowerment is the core to healing: By means of providing nationwide awareness and leadership for those of domestic violence; ensuring women and children have knowledge of all services and opportunities available.

 

AWARENESS 

Almost 36 percent of women are victims of rape, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner at some point in their lifetime.

 Approximately 1 in 5 American women are raped at some point in their lifetime; nearly half of American women experience sexual assault other than rape.

 Twenty-four percent of women experience severe physical violence by an intimate partner during their lifetime. 1.4 million people experienced domestic violence in the United States.

 Only 60 percent of domestic violence and intimate partner violence incidents are ever reported to the police.

 Forty-four percent of non-Hispanic Black women, 46 percent of American Indian or Alaska Native women, and 53.8 percent of multiracial non-Hispanic women are raped, physically abused, or stalked by an intimate partner.

 Twenty percent of youth in detention centers report witnessing or experiencing some combination of sexual or physical abuse or family violence; 15 percent report experiencing emotional abuse and family violence without physical or sexual abuse.

 Approximately one of every five Latinas will experience intimate partner violence.. Latinas are only half as likely to report abuse to authorities as survivors from other ethnic/racial groups. Latinas prefer to tell family members, female friends, or neighbors about intimate partner violence, while non-Latinas are more likely to tell health care workers or clergy.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Because Pastors wives play and have a major role in both our churches and communities being looked at as role models but not having any resources of their own to seek help in the time of trouble. MARKETING / SALES

LADY BEST MINITRIES GROUP L.L.C. will generate proceeds through various means, included but not limited to ticket sales, dvd, digital and royalties, licensing fees, publishing, merchandising, management/booking fees, and other channels.

Salaried staffing will be kept to an immediate minimum, while utilizing interns and part-timers to fulfill additional duties.

USE OF FUNDS

The anticipated Funding of 8 million US Dollars will be utilized In part to secure a viable locations and promotion of the conference. The Funding infusion of 8 Million US Dollars will allow THE WOMAN, THE WIFE, THE FIRST LADY to operate with no outside creditors and to focus solely on The Convention project.

THE WOMAN, THE WIFE, THE FIRST LADY Vendors Network Location: THE WOMAN, THE WIFE, THE FIRST LADY Conference events will take place at the George R. Brown Convention Center. THE WOMAN, THE WIFE, THE FIRST LADY Vendor Network will be positioned in the first floor pre-function lobby. This area offers excellent spacing and direct access to the conference attendees.

THE WOMAN, THE WIFE, THE FIRST LADY Vendor Booth Prices

Fee: $350.00Includes: 6 foot display table (covered and skirted) *The price covers the cost of the booth only. Electricity and other equipment needs must be arranged for and paid in advance.

VENDOR STANDARDS & REGULATIONS1. Disclosure: The exhibitor must disclose the products and or services exhibiting during The Woman, The Wife. The First Lady Minister wives Convention. 2. Each exhibit space will be provided with a table (4’ x 6’). 3. Exhibit space will be pre-assigned in the exhibit area on Thursday, July 10, 2014. Exhibitors will have access as early as 12:00 PM or earlier time may be given for set up. 4. It is understood that the exhibit space must be set up by 5 pm on Thursday July 10, 2014, and by 8:00 am Friday July 10, 2014. Exhibits must be manned and left in place until 10:30 p.m. on Saturday July 12, 2014 with removal and breakdown beginning at the said times. 5. If there is a need for electric service, please indicate on the attached application form. The convention center charges an additional cost of per day for electricity. Requests must be made with reservation and pre-approved by the convention center. 6. No telephone lines will be provided. 7. Security will be provided during the conference. Extra security to monitor each Exhibit space will not be provided and THE WOMAN, THE WIFE, THE FIRST LADY Conference will not be held responsible for items in the exhibit spaces. It will be your responsibility to ensure expensive items are not left unsupervised. 8. You are responsible to keep your exhibit space clean. 9. THE WOMAN, THE WIFE, THE FIRST LADY maintains the right to restrict any exhibitor from selling/advertising products that are deemed inappropriate for our conference attendees. 10. We reserve the right to monitor exhibitor/vendor products on site. 11. We reserve the right to request modifications of product exhibitions and/or sales. 12. Indemnity: The exhibitor assumes the entire responsibility and liability for losses, damages, and claims arising out of theft, injury or damage to exhibitor’s equipment, and other property brought into the event of THE WOMAN, THE WIFE, THE FIRST LADY and shall indemnify and hold harmless Lady Best Ministry’s event agents, servants and employees from any and all losses, damages and claims. 13. Conference sponsors, vendors, and exhibitors are bound by ordinances and regulation contained in the City of Houston Fire Prevention Code. Nothing must be taped, nailed, tacked, stapled, or otherwise fastened by any means to the building walls, etc. No helium balloons are permitted in the Exhibitor’s Area. All display materials must be of flame proof material or treated with flameproof solution. Aisle and exit ways shall be kept clear of obstruction. Any flammable liquids, gases, or other materials are prohibited.
