#Hashtags
When creating an event, think about what the official hashtag should be
Hashtags allow attendees to engage in real-time conversations taking place about the event.
They also help event organizers to engage with attendees about updates, changes, or exciting announcements relating to the event.

Your hashtag should be:
– Short, easy to type and search – Relevant to the event – Unique and never used before

Get creative by tweeting about the event
Get creative and create at least four distinct tweets that can be tweeted from the day the ticket sales go live until the day of the event.
This can be done in an automated, timely fashion manner on platforms like Tweetdeck, Hootsuite, or Buffer.
A good rule of thumb is to tweet once the event launches, three times between the launch date and day of the event, and once before the event.
Remember to converse about the event, not sell!

Tweets with graphics get 2x more engagement than those without graphics
If you’re tweeting about the date and time of the event, include a graphic of the events poster outlining further information.
It can broaden your audience, increase engagement, and ultimately create buzz around your event.
