Price includes roundtrip airfare from Newark (EWR) to Israel, transportation in country, hotel accommodations and meals while on tour, all tour admission fees, tour guide fees, and tips.

Transportation to EWR, expenses related to travel layovers or interruptions, insurance, alcoholic beverages while on tour, or other incidental expenses (i.e., snacks, shopping, etc.).

PRICING DETAILS:Tour price is based on double-occupancy accommodations. Individual travelers will be assigned a same-sex roommate of similar age (if possible). In cases where three individuals are required to share a single room, a suite will be provided. Requests for single room accommodations are subject to hotel availability and will incur a surcharge of $3,523 for the Promised Land Tour payable at the time of registration. Travelers originating from outside North America must make separate flight arrangements to meet the tour group in Israel and may deduct $750 from the Final Payment. Travelers who make their own flight arrangements to Israel regardless of the point of origin must also arrange transportation between the Tel Aviv airport and the tour hotel in Jerusalem.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. ELIGIBILITY: The VBVMI Israel Tour is limited to adults age 18 and older. Children 16 yrs and older may participate when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. At least one parent for each child under 18 is required on tour, and each child must submit an application signed by the parent or legal guardian. Children under the age of 16 are not permitted (no exceptions).

2. AVAILABILITY: The VBVMI Promised Land Tour is limited to 34 travelers. Your place on tour is assigned based on availability at the time we receive your application and deposit payment. We regret we cannot hold a place on the tour without a completed application and deposit payment.

3. WAITING LISTS: In the event the tour is sold out at the time we receive your application and deposit, you may elect to be placed on the tour waiting list by marking the appropriate box on your application form. Waiting list applications also require a deposit payment, which is fully refundable for as long as you remain on the waiting list. VBVMI maintains separate waiting lists for individuals and for couples traveling together, and openings are filled on a "first come, first served" basis according to the date we receive applications. Should a place on tour become available, you will be automatically added to the tour, and at that time your deposit payment will become subject to our Cancellation and Refund Policy. Any installment payments due must be received within 10 days or you will be removed from the tour. Applications that do not clear the waiting list prior to May 1, 2021, will be cancelled and the deposit refunded by check no later than May 10, 2021.

4. HEALTH & FITNESS CONSIDERATIONS: Be advised that the VBVMI Israel tour requires significant physical exertion including walking unaided on hills, stairs and uneven ground for periods of 6-8 hours and distances up to 6 miles (9.6 km) per day in outdoor temperatures as high as 100ºF (36ºC). Additionally, you may encounter crowded, confined or high places. Inadequate physical conditioning, injury, illness or chronic medical conditions, whether pre-existing or acquired while on tour, may adversely affect your enjoyment of and ability to participate in our tours. Each traveler is personally responsible for assessing whether he/she is able to meet the physical rigors of this tour. If you have doubts about your ability to meet the physical demands of touring Israel, please contact us before submitting your application. VBVMI cannot determine whether our tour is suitable for you.

5. TRAVEL PROTECTION: VBVMI strongly recommends all tour participants purchase a travel insurance plan to protect against travel interruptions, lost luggage, emergency evacuation/repatriation and medical emergencies while on tour.

6. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: VBVMI is not responsible for providing travel documents for entry to Israel. It is the sole responsibility of each traveler to obtain all necessary travel documentation, including passports and visas, as required by Israeli law. American citizens traveling from the United States generally do not need to obtain a visa in advance of travel. Travelers originating outside the United States may be subject to other visa requirements. Please contact the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs for specific visa information (http://mfa.gov.il/MFA/ConsularServices/Pages/Visas.aspx). Please note that Israeli immigration requires that your passport be valid for at least six months beyond your date of departure from Israel.

7. GROUP FLIGHT: If you participate in the group flight departing from EWR (Newark), VBVMI will purchase your airline ticket on your behalf using the name you provided on your application. Travelers are responsible for ensuring the name provided on the tour application exactly matches the traveler's travel documents (including spelling). Any corrections required after ticketing (including minor spelling corrections) may incur a change fee. VBVMI is not responsible for a denial of boarding by airport authorities or carrier due to a name discrepancy. When you receive your airline ticketing confirmation (approximately 60 days prior to departure), you may contact United Airlines to select your seat assignment. Travelers with frequent flyer status on United Airlines may also update their reservation with a frequent flyer number or request an upgrade at that time.

8. UNEXPECTED TOUR INTERRUPTIONS: Unforeseen circumstances in Israel including (but not limited to) international border closings, widespread outbreaks of disease, civil unrest, government changes, airline schedule changes and/or cancellations, inclement weather, holiday declarations, road or site closures, vehicle malfunction, visitor congestion, or other reasons may force last-minute changes to our tour itinerary or even result in a cancellation of the tour. In the event that a scheduled tour stop is cancelled or if touring is suspended for a day, your tour guide will make reasonable efforts to offer alternative attractions within the time allowed. If the VBVMI Group Flight or the VBVMI tour guide are barred from entering Israel or if our tour group is prevented from touring while in Israel for longer than two (2) days, VBVMI will cancel the tour and offer refunds subject to our Cancellation and Refund Policy. We recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against such unlikely contingencies.

9. WAIVER OF LIABILITY: Traveling internationally involves personal risks and dangers. These risks include (but are not limited to) death; property loss; or personal injury resulting from physical exertion; falls and exposure; vehicle accidents; travel interruptions; air-borne, food-borne or water-borne illnesses; criminal acts; acts of war; natural disasters; and other circumstances related to traveling internationally.

BY SUBMITTING YOUR SIGNED TOUR APPLICATION AND DEPOSIT PAYMENT, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND ACCEPT THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND THE RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH PARTICIPATING IN THIS TOUR, AND YOU AGREE TO ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY AND ALL PERSONAL LOSSES, INJURIES OR OTHER DAMAGES YOU MAY SUSTAIN AS A RESULT OF YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THIS TOUR, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO INCIDENTS THAT OCCUR DURING TRAVEL TO OR FROM ISRAEL.

YOU FURTHER AGREE TO RELEASE, WAIVE, INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, AND HOLD HARMLESS VERSE BY VERSE MINISTRY OF SAN ANTONIO (D.B.A. VBVMI) AND ITS OFFICERS, AGENTS AND EMPLOYEES FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS FOR BODILY INJURY DEMANDS, PROPERTY DAMAGE, THEFT, TRAVEL OR TOUR INTERRUPTIONS, OR OTHER CAUSES OF ACTION OF ANY TYPE WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ATTORNEYS’ FEES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY RELATED TO YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THIS TOUR, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH DAMAGES ARE CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE.

YOU FURTHER AGREE TO OBEY ALL LAWS WHILE ON TOUR IN ISRAEL AND TO COMPLY WITH SAFETY AND SECURITY INSTRUCTIONS AND DIRECTIVES ISSUED BY ISRAELI AUTHORITIES AND YOUR TOUR GUIDES. YOU ALSO AFFIRM YOU ARE PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY PREPARED FOR THE DEMANDS OF THE VBVMI ISRAEL TOURS, INCLUDING WALKING UNAIDED FOR UP TO 6 MILES (9.6 KM) PER DAY IN SUMMER WEATHER CONDITIONS.
