Create a novel concept of territorial control room allowing for the prevision and prevention phases, assessing the residual risk and coordinating emergency

Improve the environmental monitoring effectiveness with adequate –and possibly embedded- ICT infrastructures integrated with satellite views

Provide large communication bandwidth during emergency

Address the homeland security issue (explosive and weapons detection, suspicious people identification)

Design new ICT devices for survivors detection in emergency
