Our teacher’s name: Renata Tutka
Gimnazjum im. Jana Pawła II w Pawłowie
We decided to choose this subject because our lunch
breaks are boring and monotonous. Lot’s of students
don’t know what to do and how to relax before next
lessons. Most students only sit on the corridor or in the
common room and they feel bored. We would like to
change this situation so we decided to think of some
ideas how to modify the long lunch break in our school.
We did a survey at school and we asked our friends
eighteen questions about how they spend thier lunch
break.
Most students don’t know how to spend their lunch break or they think that this
break is too boring. They don’t have an idea what to do and how to properly relax
before the next lesson. They usually spend their lunch break sitting in front of the
class and talking with friends. The survey shows that over 50% students in our
school like doing sports and singing. About 30 % of them prefer playing computer
games. There are some less popular e.g. listening to MP3 player playing games on
mobiles. 88% of students think that lunch break is needed, because it allows them
to talk with friends, eat lunch and develop their hobby. 73% students think that
lunch break in our school isn’t very safe, because children often run on corridors.
86% students want to change their lunch break and do more usefull things during
it. Most of students would like to organize some attractive activities while the
lunch break and to take part in our project.

We were very surprised that so manypupils wanted to take part in this competition. We chose some of the best works and prizedthem with some gifts. It was difficult to makedecision because all posters were amazing.
