WGISS-WGCV Core Test Sites
• In 2007 ESA plan to continue development of WTF to provide seamless continuation of the data services covering sensor calibration datasets
• USGS does not have fund to support the maintenance of the portal becoming static.
• USGS –ESA to discuss for future plan • GEO Sec is interested in having cal/val portal
registered in the component and service registry

WTF CEOP
• Overall status were given• JAXA:
– Adding new Web Map layers and producing a prototype for Water Resource Management
– The overview of the CEOP and the prototype of the Global water cycle were presented
– Possible collaboration with GRID TT
• NASA– OPeNDAP interface will be added to the WCS– Plan to provide a prototype to the science community
• AI: WGISS 23-4 Satoko to inquire about the details of the IP3 program to determine if the WTF can be of use to this program

Natural Disaster Projects
• To use of technologies and tools developed by WGISS members to support disaster management
• An overview of ASIAES and sentinel Asia system were given
• May be valuable for DI 06-09• A candidate to be registered as a GEO –
service registry
![Page 7: Projects and Applications Subgroup Pakorn Apaphant pakorn@gistda.or.th Kathy Fontaine kathy.fontaine@nasa.gov WGISS-24 DLR, Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany October](https://reader036.vdocuments.mx/reader036/viewer/2022082917/5514e1bc55034693478b57bc/html5/thumbnails/7.jpg)
EO Data Portal Task Team • To discuss on the integration between the EO data
portal and IDN• At the beginning, ICEDS and IDN will separately
registered in GEO registry• TT status will be discuss in WGISS24• Three steps need to be done before closing
– Updating WGISS website menu– Creating a portal in IDN– Register ICED in the GEO as a component registry
![Page 8: Projects and Applications Subgroup Pakorn Apaphant pakorn@gistda.or.th Kathy Fontaine kathy.fontaine@nasa.gov WGISS-24 DLR, Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany October](https://reader036.vdocuments.mx/reader036/viewer/2022082917/5514e1bc55034693478b57bc/html5/thumbnails/8.jpg)
Global Data Sets Task Team
• Focusing on – Encouragement and support for the
creation of global data sets– Creation of a global 30 m. DEM
• This TT should be left open to respond to DA07-01

• Consider ending current projects to enable new projects to take shape.
• Consider aligning new projects with GEO tasks as prototype?
