What is Project Tracker?
Transportation Code Section 201.807 states that the department should
have a centralized location on the Internet to list projects in all
transportation plans and programs available to the public.
Senate Bill 1420 was passed during the 82nd Legislative Session- TxDOT
to become a more accountable, informative, and transparent agency. To
achieve this goal, TxDOT created a website named Project Tracker for the
general public and stakeholders to track TxDOT transportation projects.
As a result of these requirements, Project Tracker was created as a web
based portal that showcases TxDOT’s transportation projects, including
annual reports for other modes such as Aviation, Rail, Maritime, Major
Transportation Projects and Public Transportation Projects.
