This successful project involved the conversion of theexisting dormitory rooms into two on the dayadmission unit. This Admission Lounge consistsseparate male and female waiting areas, WCs,changing areas, consulting rooms, reception areaand high quality bespoke joinery along with aconnecting link to the main hospital.
We completed in time and on budget and achieved abeautiful finish. The client remains happy with thefinished project and is available for reference.

Privacy/Dignity Scheme: The Alan
Cummings Day Surgery Unit Relocation of
Dermatology Offices

This scheme involved the division of the male and
female areas of the Day Surgery Unit of Orpington.
Time was essential as valuable revenue would have
been lost should the scheme be completed late.
Working around the clock, Carmelcrest completed
on time and on budget and achieved a beautiful
finish.
The client was very happy with the result and has
given his approval to be contacted for a reference.
Project: Board Room Fit-Out
This project comprised the complete strip out and re-
fit of the hospital board room. Various designs were
presented to the client who eventually chose oak, as
the base timber for the project.
Walls were clad from floor to ceiling with matching
oak veneer boards to give a modern and expensive
feel. Lighting was housed in an overhead oak pelmet
arrangement in the same shape as the table,
suspended from the ceiling on fine wire cables. The
bespoke boardroom table was designed to
complement the wall panelling and the room was
finished with traditional French polishing. The project
was completed within two weeks and the client is
very happy.
