The building designed by Stewart Maclachlan of London Borough of Newham (LBN) incorporates an innovative vaulted and domed semi-circular timber roof. The roof was manufactured on site with traditional craft hand skills. The finished inside is a beautiful array of circular timber. We used the time leading up to the project start date to develop the design. We assisted the school in selecting the design, colours and appliances they required. Works were carried out over a ten month period including school term- time on a rolling programme without a hitch. This is because our tradesmen are specially trained to work in school environments. The school was very pleased with the outcome. The Head Teacher is available to give reference. The time leading up to the start was used to develop the design. We engaged the school heads in the process of working up a design together until they were satisfied. The project was completed during the summer holidays and the school was very pleased with the outcome. The Head teacher is available for reference. MARYLAND PRIMARY SCHOOL VALUE: £63, 700 Our team ensured the highest standards of quality, as the tightest of tolerances were required for the domed end to accurately meet the vaulted section. The finished project is a unique quality piece of work not often seen on construction sites these days. The quality and precision achieved in this project is testament to our teamwork and co-operation.
