Rémi Decker (° 1983) is a Belgian musician, self-taught multi-instrumentalist of international renown. He is grows up in a musical environment and starts to play the bagpipes at the age of 10. Driven by his enthusiasm and curiosity, he goes to work as an autodidact. He has taught bagpipes and folk music since 2000. In January 2017, Rémi Decker has started a new series of online tutorials devoted to 16 inch, half closed fingering G bagpipe basic techniques. A reference for beginners and a source of inspiration for more advenced bagpipers.

Remy Dubois (¨Pepinster; 1942) bagpipe and epinette maker. After his studies of wood work at Don Bsco in Verviers and draing at the academy, he worked as comic drawer and etalagist. He makes his first bagpipes in 1970 as an autodidact. He fastly became a European reference for the bagpipe making. He is nowadays retired but works further at barok musette pipes and teaching students to make pipes. Olle Geris, who has worked with him for years took the workshop over since a few years.

Hubert Boone (Nederokkerzeel, June 11, 1940) is a Belgian violinist and bagpipe player and collector of music, songs and dance from Flanders; He received his first music lessons from Mil's brothers and Jean Penninckx, the local tailor and butcher. From 1953 to 1956 he played cornet in the fanfare of Saint Stephen and learned to know the traditional repertoire. From 1957 to 1963 he studied at the Royal Music Conservatory of Brussels: he taught here memorial, viola, harmonious, contrapunt and fugue. In 1968, Boone became a scientific assistant at the Musical Instrument Museum (MIM) of Brussels. From 1990, he made recordings of traditional music in Eastern Europe such as: Ukraine, Armenia, Belarus, Chuvash, Mordovia and South Ossetia. Boone founded the popular dance group De Vlier in 1968 and in 1978 the Brabants Folk Orchestra and in 2000 the Limbrant ensemble. In the last two groups he plays as a musician and visited countless countries with them.

Short CV Alfonso Konović from Jurićev Kal near Barban made his first sopela completely by hand when he was 17 years old. He began making instruments seriously in 2000, after having acquired a small lathe and all the necessary tools for making instruments. He made all Istrian traditional instruments and reeds, and paid special attention to the sopelica about which he didn’t know much and thought it was a forgotten and neglected instrument.

Short CV Piper, musician and an expert who teaches playing bagpipes, bladder pipe, fiddle and tied violin. His profession is bricklaying. He started music education at the age of 11, in Stanislaw Grocholski class. Romuald was rewarded at the bigest traditional music competitions in Poland. At present he teaches in 5 places: Poznan, Steszew, Polajewo, Czempin and Szamotuly. His major advantage is efficiency of teaching, as well as using the traditional direct method of teaching - „master – student”, without any knowledge of music score. In cooperation with foundations Kreaktywator and Pluribus Unum, as well as with Institute of Music and Dance, he ran numerous bagpipe workshops. He founded a bagpipe group of 10 people, called "Kapela spod Poznania" (bagpipe, tied violin), with whom he plays frequent concerts.
