JOB DESCRIPTIONReporting to the Quality Manager with responsibility for ensuring that all Customer Qualityrequirements are met.The role of the Project Quality Engineer is to translate Customer Quality requirements intodocuments and disseminate them to the organization. The Project Quality Engineer isresponsible for developing Inspection Test Plans (ITP’s), performing gate reviews and interfacingwith the Project Manager, customers, suppliers and fabrication sites on project qualityrequirements.

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree in Engineering(Mechanical), Engineering (Metallurgical), Engineering (Manufacturing) or equivalent.At least 3 years of working experience in Project Quality Management in the oil and gasindustry.Possessed working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.Strong working knowledge of ASME Code Section VIII, IX and B31.x piping Codes includingcertificationand compliance requirements.Experienced in pressure vessel fabrication and have a good welding and fabricationbackground.Able to interpret drawings, ANSI Y14.5 (GD&T), electrical and hydraulic schematics.Knowledge of paint operations to include preparation of surfaces, application of paint andthe use ofmeasurement tools is a plus.
