Village house

Idea:

1. Mass of the object is based on a simple form of a village house.

2. The Gate as part of a traditional village house, visually connects court with the street area and at the same time, it also clearly separate them.

4. These are linked with the surroundings through large windows.

3. Masses of rooms are recessed into the main mass of attic.

The proposed building of energy-e�cient family house is situated in a rural region of Moravia and surrounding areas.

Site description:

The proposal is set on vacant lot between terraced houses. It is characterized by narrow parcelling and a relatively low buildings heights - single storey objects.
