setup, purchase a newly built 78sqm tenancy and fit it out. The underlying
brief was that the interior had to be flexible to accommodate a busy,
professional bookkeeping business that allowed enough "chill-out" escape
space for staff. Carpet tiles were the obvious choice as they can easily
accommodate any future partition changes. The choice of colour was also
an obvious choice when selecting finished because of the QCI logo and
the fresh, bright colours it contains. Silkyline Lime is what we would
describe as a "clean" green and became an integral element for the overall
design concept.
When finishes were first presented to QCI they did take a little time to think
about the lime coloured carpet, only because other people were saying to
them that they should choose something dark to cover stains, wear and
tear. Bellfort were very confident in providing relevant product information
sourced from the Nolan website which answered all questions that were
raised. We were also able to discuss the installation and patterning which
would provide a perfect backdrop to the rest of the interior elements.
Basically, we didn't hesitate to promote this product as it fitted the project
perfectly.
The final result is fantastic. Our client is extremely happy with the result
and I don't think anyone involved with the project, including all contractors
who worked on the site, would ever hesitate to recommend green carpet
every again. Yes, the client did have some hesitation about the colour of
the carpet and even the linear appearance but they had faith in us to
proceed and have not questioned that faith since. Our confidence in Nolan
products, in particular their range of carpet tiles is continually supported by
the brilliant end results they achieve.'
