project based learning. why? what? how?
DESCRIPTION
This presentation was put together as an introduction to PBL. Definitions of PBL are examined and common ground is established in the focus on curiosity, connection, and creation. Participants were then asked to look at the videos provided and find those evidence of curiosity, connection, and creation and for strategies that could be used in their own classrooms. Links to resources are also provided here.TRANSCRIPT

Making sure he had all his space gear was on, he opened the Aperture and stepped out on to the hinge of the solar panel. He climbed up to the top of the hubble space telescope and checked the antennas.
Not surprised, Sam found some type of debris on one of the antennas. Sam Sonic quickly removed the debris, he was going to be late making his daily check in with the ground team.
Sam finally finished cleaning the antennas and hurried back inside the ship and made the daily check in call.
