What is Project ACE? Project Afterschool Coding Enterprise aims to develop students in terms of academic achievement, character building, and providing access to STEM opportunities
The core business of ACE would be teaching students how to solve problems in life, and this is achieved through coding classes every Tuesday and Thursday.
We will also be providing a microconsulting aiming to solve problems that are faced by the school and the communities
Beneficiaries of Project ACE• 30 students from SMK Taman Sejahtera• SMK Taman Sejahtera is one of the two lowest performing schools in Seberang Perai
Tengah where a great majority of our students are from the surrounding low-cost housing areas
• 60% of the school students are from lower household income of less than RM1 500 per month
• These 30 students are selected based on their application essays and interview to be a corp members of Project ACE

• On March 17th, Sony Malaysia (Penang) conducted a 3 hours Arduino workshop at SMK Taman Sejahtera as part of Project ACE.
• Among the participant was Harry* whose parents work in the Sony factory as factory workers
• There he is, Harry, in the same room as Sony’s engineers and staffs to learn to program an embedded processors.
• One day, Harry will grow up to be an engineer and Project ACE could be that turning point he needs.
