1. Introduction

Description:

In the autumn - winter period is not enough light in greenhouses to stimulate a photosynthesis process. As a result this, an additional illumination crops to ensure appropriate growth conditions with artificial light sources should by provided. Improving light conditions is commonly used practice by the Manufacturers of Flowers and Vegetables. Mainly the sodium lamps and metalhalide lamps are in use in this purporse.

In our researches LED lamps with modified spectrum were tested.

4. Energy consumption by tested luminaries.

• Total crops illumination time during researches was ca. 428 h.

• Luminaries were active for 79% of total illumination time

Energy consumption by designed LED luminaries were reduced about

ca. 45% in comparison to sodium lamps.

1. Description

Odour elemenation by electrotechnical methods

Currently we performed the researches on devices using electrotechnical

methods to do deodorization of AIR.

We search for possible effective and low-cost solution that can be

commercialized and used in the technological processes, agricultural activities,

biogas power plants, etc.

Conducted economic analysis revealed the fact that the unit cost of installation

and operation of our devices are many times lower than the purification

systems based on traditional technologies (methods of adsorption and thermal).

Our prototype device can deodorize 0.8 m3 per hour. Power consumptuion ca. 500 W. We can improve our results.
