Ein Jahr nach der tunesischen Revolution wirft das Festival

Meeting Points 6 nach Stationen in Beirut und Brüssel in

Berlin einen Blick auf die aktuellen Entwicklungen in der ara-

bischen Welt. In Performances, Lesungen, Gesprächen und

Filmen präsentiert es künstlerische und soziale Positionen zu

den sich emanzipierenden Zivilgesellschaften und hinterfragt

Identitäten, Logiken und Praktiken der neuen Ö� entlichkeiten.

One year after the Tunisian revolution, the festival Meet-

ing Points 6, after stops at Beirut and Brussels, in Berlin

takes a look at current developments in the Arab world.

In performances, readings, conversations, and fi lms, it

presents artistic and social positions on the emancipating

civic societies and questions identities, logics, and prac-

tices of the new publics.
