“Those who accepted his message were baptized”

(Acts 2:41) Dearest Sisters,

With joy and gratitude toward the Lamb our Shepherd who

leads us to the “springs of life”, we present to you the Programmation 2007 and some changes made on the Chronogram of the next years, in order to continue the journey traced in our 7th General Chapter.

During the brief visits done in 2006, we have seen more

closely your realities and have better known the choices that orient your Programmation in synthony with the journey demanded to the whole Congregation.

The actual general Programmation is born from the dialogue

done in this time with the Sisters of the governments of circumscriptions and it is an expression of the will to journey together, trustful that Jesus Good Shepherd leads us with infinite mercy.

The gift of new life received in Baptism asks us each day and

makes us feel the urgency to re- evangelize ourselves first, in order to leave - as our Founder says – “The good scent of Christ1”, in the Church and in the world, through a convincing testimony of His life as Good Shepherd.

“We treasure the new life in Christ so as to lead to the springs of

life…“ is the invitation and the orientation we want to assume this year, in order to grow in faith and to exercise the pastoral care.

We want to reciprocally help each other to return to the Gospel allowing ourselves to be fascinated by the beauty of Christ and to conform ourselves always more to Him, through the Holy Spirit, in obedience to the will of love of the Father.

Here the proposal to deepen our going back to the “springs of life” with alive memory of our Baptism 2.

It will be a new opportunity to rediscover and to revive the

gift of participation to the relationship of love of the Trinity, so as to recognize the visit of God and to re-comprehend the roots of our faith in the vital encounter with the Shepherd Jesus, Crucified and Risen.

Keeping in mind your suggestions, we are reflecting on the

modality in order to actualize the Seminar on “pastoral care” and we are also elaborating the new Logo of the Congregation.

We are preparing and programming in a more detailed

manner the canonical Visit, which will begin in April 2007 with the Delegation ARG-BO.

We set ourselves to prepare to celebrate the 70th year of

foundation of our Congregation with the theme: «To revive in today's humanity the “taste for God3”». This is an occasion to deepen the gift of the Pastorella vocation in all of us and in order to make known the beauty of our Pastoral Charism in the Church.

We also continue in the next years the chain of prayer, which

has accompanied us in 2006. It is a manner appreciated by all in order to make communion and congregational solidarity grow and to sustain us in the common commitment of pastoral care.

To the Lord who comes in the history of humanity, in order

to live among us, we entrust the life of each Sister and of those whom we take care in the local Church.

Mary, the Mother of the Good Shepherd, Virgin of hope and

the Apostles Peter and Paul maintain the pastoral passion alive in our hearts and in our communities

With lots of blessing,

“Oh, the Pastorelle, if they have good spirit, (…) they can spread the perfume of Jesus Christ

with their example, their prayer, their activity, their initiatives. Preparare oneself well to the most beautiful vocation, (…)

accomplish it well”

Chain of prayer “I have already told you of your mission of education and of formation, but I am convinced even more of this your third mission, to teach how to pray”.

(Blessed J. Alberione, PrP IV, p. 193).

We continue to sustain each other in the pastoral service with the chain of prayer through the monthly intention so as to remain united in communion and in solidarity in our Family.
