Example:-

C.p= Rs45

OHC =Rs. 6.90

Total C.P =Rs45+Rs6.90=Rs 51.90

S.p=Rs73

So,S.P- Total C.P= Rs73 – Rs51.90=Rs21.10

III. Word problems:

1) A refrigerator was bought for Rs.5000 and Rs 1000 was spent on repairs and then sold at a profit of Rs355.98 . Find the S.P.

2) By selling a car for Rs 2,45,970 a man suffered a loss of Rs.35,900. Find the C.P of the car.
