procedure has been widely adopted and is now called PRELEX an acronym for
PREsbyopic Lens Exchange.

Since 1995 I have attended ASCRS, ESCRS, and UKISCRS virtually every year
to give lectures. I have also been invited to present at the European Society of
Ophthalmology quinquennial meetings, and have run courses on advanced cataract
surgery, surgery for presbyopia, surgery for astigmatism, immediate sequential bilateral
cataract surgery, modern supplemental IOLs and anaesthesia for cataract surgery.
