Professional Writing Final Reflection

What Have I Learned?• Since the beginning of the class till now, I have learned to improve my

overall grammar.

• I’ve always had some decent grammar to begin with, but this course definitely cleaned it up to almost perfect.

• This includes sentence structure, spelling, word choice, and format for assignments.

How Did I Learn This?

• The articles posted in Module 11 were what probably helped me out this most.

• The information I learned from those links were then applied to better use in our WA4 assignment.

• Being a five page assignment, and a professional business assignment, there was plenty of writing involved and plenty of practice was given on top of the peer reviews that I had to do.

Why Does Any Of This Matter?

• Being a professional writing class, all the skills I’ve acquired will follow me throughout college and into the business world where knowing how to write properly is crucial.

• When someone is surrounded by professionals, like I will be, it is appropriate that I am able to communicate with them in an intelligent and professional way

• Due to all that I’ve learned, specifically my grammar, I will be able to successfully do this.

Impact In The Future

• I will need this acquired skill in the future when I am creating resumes for businesses that I wish to intern with.

• I will set myself a goal that involves me using my writing abilities to write out a resume for applying to businesses in the area willing to let me intern with or to actually work for.

• The quality of my image should improve as a direct result of being able to write professionally, and clearly, which will also help me in looking for a way to start my business career.
