Feature Products for Turf
RICHGROW HOMOGENOUSIntroduced in 2009, perfected in 2010. Our Richgrow branded ho-mogenous fertilizers are designed for Western Canadian soil and climate conditions. Available in a variety of N,P,K analysis, plus in both greens and fairway grades . Richgrow homogenous fertilizers are easy to apply and fast to dissolve resulting in reduced mower pick up and even green up. The addition of methylene urea re-duces surge growth and maintains green up response. Potassium sulphate plus added magnesium and iron further enhances the overall quality of these products.
STABILIZED NITROGEN PRODUCTSThe family of Stabilized Nitrogen products from Terralink Horticul-ture represents a new and exciting class of extended response ni-trogen products. The Technology in U Maxx and U Flexx enhance the efficiency and value of the most widely used nitrogen source in the world, urea. The products are uniquely formulated with both urease and nitrification inhibitors. Together, these additives work to overcome nitrogen loss from volatilization, denitrification and leaching. The result is a premium product that is environmentally sound, providing steady growth and optimum response. U Maxx and U Flexx aren’t coated products, and don’t rely on microbial degradation to release nitrogen.
INSTRATA FUNGICIDENew in 2008 Instrata made the scene as the newest pre-mixed, tri-active ingredient snow mold protection product in Canada. Its unique combination of chlorothalonil, fludioxonil, and propicon-azole makes it second to none in controlling snow mold. The com-bination of active ingredients, and their multiple modes of action enables Instrata to control all the numerous pathogens that con-tribute to snow mold. When using Mini fertilizers in a fairway type spreader, especially Vicon, best results are achieved by removing the agitator. Use 26 as a starting point with a Vicon spreader to achieve 200 lbs product per acre.
Spreader settings listed in this brochure should be used as Starting Points before fine tuning your calibration. Due to age of spreader and spreader parts, walking speed of applicator, and in-dividual preference to spreader manufacturer set up instructions, it is impossible to give “blanket” settings that are exact.
*lbs of product per 1,000 sq.ft. to apply amount of Nitrogen desired.* Find the % of N in the fertilizer blend, match up with the lbs N required / 1,000 sq.ft to determine the lbs of product to be applied.
