FORMAL WEAR GUIDELINES FOR WOMEN

Suits:

Black, dark blue, grey, pinstripes are accepted.

Blouses:

Long sleeves in white or ivory color is accepted. Necklines may be round, oval or v-shaped. Collars are optional.

Jacket: It should drape smoothly. Shoulder padding should be appropriate. Should end at the wrist.

Trousers: Black or shades of gray. Skirts should be 1” below the knee.

Should be comfortable to sit.

TIE DAY

Wear a plain tie for a striped shirt and a striped tie for a plain shirt. Ensure that the length of tie touches the buckle. Always wear a tie whenever you give a presentation.

Hairstyles, Tattoos and jewelryMEN Make sure that you clean shave every day without any stubble Keep your hair organized with hair gel. Maintain spikes properly if you choose to have them. Do not wear multiple rings on your fingers. Always keep your tattoos covered.

WOMEN Hair should be neat, well-maintained and off the collar and make your face, the area

of focus. Flowers are not allowed. Pick jewelry that matches your attire. It should be small and elegant. Make-up is essential but it should be simple. Nails can be slightly linger. Clear and natural shades nail colors are allowed.

SOCKS, SHOES AND BELTMEN Match the color of your shoes with the color of your belt. Ensure that the buckle is formal and simple. Match the color of your socks with the color of your trousers. Never wear white socks as they are considered informal. Polish your shoes everyday.

WOMEN Close shoes and low heels are allowed. Open shoes are not allowed, socks can be used.

FRIDAY DRESSING: BUSINESS CASUALSMEN Always wear collared T-shirt to work without any large imprints. Do not wear faded/torn jeans or cargo to work. Never wear open toe shoes or floaters to work. Business casuals include:

1. Trousers

2. Collared shirts

3. Mock turtlenecks

4. Khakis

Do not wear open shoes on Fridays. Always wear socks even on Fridays.

On Friday business casuals are allowed.

Jeans and t-shirts are allowed.

Trousers, collared shirts, mock turtlenecks and khakis are allowed.

Leggings and sleeveless are not allowed. Silk sarees, designer can be experimented on corporate holiday outings and in-house events. The color, texture look should be subtle and not very flamboyant. Salwar kamez, kurta pyjamas and cotton sarees are allowed

KEY TIPS FOR CORPORATE ATTIREMEN Do not opt for cheap fabrics when choosing ties. Choose only a slim metal case watch with dark leather or metal straps. Do not opt for plastic ballpoint pen. Avoid scratched eyeglasses. Use mild perfumes and deodorants.

Women Always look your best while you are meeting clients. Avoid strong smelling hair-oils and loud perfumes. Avoid transparent, low-cut and tight dresses. Wear subtle colors and minimal accessories. Avoid non-traditional colors, fabric and designs.
