HD Doormating Solutions is an European company, specializing in the engineering, design and production of Custom Entrance Flooring Systems.

After years of sales, installation and the marketing of entrance matting systems, the idea that it was time to re-think, re-design and bring to market an innovative entrance matting solution became apparent. Following extensive research and testing by our in-house engineering team and input from our customers, we have successfully developed and are now currently manufacturing, what we believe is the next generation in Custom Entrance Flooring Systems.

To clean effectively and stop dirt at the entrance area, it is not enough to install just any doormat. Every entrance cleaning system should be designed according to the entrance area’s size, type, traffic congestion, etc. The size of the mat is very important and the proper combination of different types of inserts provides greater efficiency of the system as a whole.

1. Zone 1 (coarse dirt ) - For this zone we recommend entrance mats with brush or rubber inserts, or a combination between them. They will effectively remove anything: small pebbles, sand, snow, mud, etc...

2. Zone 2 (fine dirt) - For this zone we recommend entrance mats with brush, rubber or carpet inserts, or combination of them. This zone seeks to remove finer debris such as sand and dust as well as to absorb water.

3. Zone 3 (absorption of water) - For this zone, mats with carpet inserts are suitable. They will further absorb water from the shoes and prevent slipping or wet steps in entrance areas.

The length of the mat is very important. The size has to be adjusted depending on the size of the entrance area and traffic flow. Studies show that 90% of the dirt from the shoes is removed at the first 7 steps on a properly designed 3-zone cleaning system.

hd 40xx line

HD40xx is built tough and exceeds the static and dynamic loads needed for most applications. The profiles (rails) are 40 mm wide and our complete selection of inserts are 22 mm (the most com-mon size on the market) to provide the most effective cleaning and slip resistant surface possible. Designed for easy mainte-nance, the closed construction does not allow dirt to fall through the mat, yet still allows water to pass through for superior drain-age. In addition, the 9 mm and 12 mm high versions are avail-able with either a pvc or an aluminum open hinge system that al-lows for even faster drainage needed in more extreme climates. HD40xx is designed for installation into recessed locations using a frame for additional strength and aesthetics, but can also be ordered with a ramp profile (1, 2 or all 4 sides) for surface-mount applications. HD4017 can be combined with HD6017 in any com-bination, providing countless design options for the customer.

Our Duo line consist of reversible (double faced) mats with re-markable strength and cleaning properties. The two “faces” give the mat almost double the lifespan and can be inverted at any-time if severe aesthetic damage, however unlikely, occurs on one side.

When choosing between durability, aesthetics, cleaning and drainage is not an option, the DUO line of entrance flooring systems is the only choice. The Duo line is available in several distinct options - Duo Mat (I-Bar), Duo Grid (I-Bar), Duo Twist (serpentined rubber), Duo Carpet, Duo Rubber and Duo Buffed (both corrugated and buffed recycled rubber).

We use only selected, high quality components in our products. Every single part of our doormats is made in Europe, and comes with quality certificates. Before leaving our factory every single mat passes through extensive quality checks which take in account 8 different quality criteria.

All doormats from our HD60xx, HD40xx and DUO series can be ordered in any combination of inserts, according to the cleaning properties, the application and the customer’s preferences. HD4017 and HD6017 can be combined to achieve a wide-narrow look and brighten up the entrance. All mats are custom and made to order to fit any size and shape.

“Closed type” construction - Dirt and debris are collected in special grooves between the profiles, from which they can be removed quickly and easily with a vacuum cleaner or broom. You no longer need to lift heavy mats to clean the dirt. Instead of leaving the dirt under the mat, you can easily clean it!
