Performance Lubricants


IntroductionEvery car, vehicle, industrial plant and equipment owner realizes that oil companies would like to sell

more oil, and that engine & component manufactures would like to sell more engines, bearings, etc.

The fact that the world engine & components after market runs into multiple billions of dollars per an-

num, must serve as a confirmation that conventional motor oils, lubricants and greases do not function

and perform as they should.

Sir William F. Gruse, former chairman of the lubricating oils and fuels division of the American Stand-

ard, Testing and Materials Institute, has stated that conventional mineral hydro carbon oils are no

Objective

DESCRIPTION: Mega Lube Performance Lubricant is a Polarised product that is fortify with a’ polymer 2002 ionic bond Anti Friction fortifier. Mega Lube Performance Lubricant is a scientifically formulat-ed polar fluid, blended with superior technologically advanced anti-friction chemicals. The concentrate is formulated to blend completely with all conventional motor oils, both natural hy-drocarbons or fully synthetic.

MEGA LUBEEngine Flush

DESCRIPTION:

Mega Lube Engine Flush is a complete engine flush ad-ditive suitable for both gasoline and diesel engines.

APPLICATIONS:

Mega Lube Engine Flush is added to the engine oil prior to draining for an oil change. It is recommended to add it while the engine is warm. Run the engine for a further 10 minutes at low speed and low load, i.e. fast idling speed, to circulate the preparation and to remove the sludge. Switch the engine off and the oil can now be drained from the sump. The engine should now be cleaned and ready to be refilled with a new charge of engine oil. Do not forget to install a new oil filter. Mega Lube Engine Flush combines detergency and dispersion to remove the build-up of sludge formed by oxidized engine oil. Mega Lube Engine Flush is ide-ally suited for industrial gearboxes where slugging is a problem.

Mega Lube Silicone Lubricant is a non-toxic, colourless and odourless lubricant.

DESCRIPTION:

Mega Lube Penetrating Oil is a powerful, non- corrosive penetrating fluid that will quickly penetrate and loosen rust and corrosion without injury to the base metal. It penetrates deep recesses and closes tolerances and loosens pipes, nuts and bolts, fittings, locks and hinges.

APPLICATIONS:

Apply to any thread, nut and bolt, fittings, lock and hing-es. It will form an anti-seize protective coating which will protect the treated area. It is an excellent gun lubricant for cleaning and protection against rust.

APPLICATION:

COMPRESSOR VDL oils are recommended for all reciprocating type air compressors and air vacuum pumps in which an oil of a certain specified ISO grade is required. DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATION:

Mega Lube WB Grease is a dark brown sodium-based grease of NLGI No. 3 consistency. Sodium-based grease are characterised by their fibrous texture and are susceptible to water washout due to the soluble nature of sodium soaps. The product is made from high viscosity paraffmic oils and in conjunction with the so-dium soap, gives good adhesion, making it suitable for slow speed bearings, chassis, lubrications and wheel bearings where a maximum temperature of 100°C is applicable. Mega Lube WB Grease also finds favour for the lubrication of slow speed bearings in rough machin-ery such as mining and construction equipment.

DESCRIPTION:

MEGA LUBE FOOD GREASE is smooth, buttery- tex-tured grease and is odourless with bland taste and excellent pump ability. The colour may vary from white to apricot. All materials used in the manufacture of this grease are approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the grease complies As a USDA Class Hi lubricant and also with U.S. code of Federal Regula-tions (CFR) C178.3570.

APPLICATION:

Recommended for use for the lubrication of all kinds of equipment in food and beverage processing plants. It meets the requirements where incidental contact with the food or beverage may occur. Mega Lube Food Grease is also recommended for grease packed bear-ings of all kinds e.g. electric motor bearings, pump shaft bearings and conveyor belt bearings. It is also recom-mended for applications where there is severe water washing, contamination with fruit juice or beverage, or where frequent steam cleaning is required.

During lay—up of equipment and machine parts which are subsequently exposed to edible products it may be used as an anti—rust compound. In such cases the grease must be removed from the surface by wiping, as required, to leave the surface effectively free of any substance which could be transferred to food being processed. Mega Lube Food Grease can also be used as a release agent on gaskets or seals of tank enclo-sures. In this instance a minimum amount should be used to accomplish the desired effect required.

CS EP2 M, is the ideal lubrication grease for all types of bearings (plain, roller, ball, nee-dle, etc) oven conveyor bearings, roll neck bearings, slides, kiln gears, pin and bush on draglines, cranes, loaders, pulleys, universal joints, track rollers, chains, pivots, scraper winches, mill stands and continuous casting rollers.

CHARACTERISTICS:

CS EP2 M has a very high resistance to change in tem-perature. The drop point is above 300°C. This product has excellent properties at high loads due to the high viscosity base oil and Calcium Sulphonate complex. It also offers excellent mechanical stability in roller bearings (all kinds of bearings) slide ways and joints. There is excellent oxidation and corrosion protection, also under the pressure of seawater. CS EP2 M is especially suitable for the use in the Steel mill indus-try. It offers excellent water resistance even under the influence of a water jet, it still does not wash out. Also with 50% water the product, still retains its consistency. CS EP2 M has an excellent load resistance, due to the performance of EP and anti-wear properties. The above product does not contain any heavy metals or any other substance, that are harmful to the environment (or to human health) Due to the high film strength of CS EP2 M, the lubrication intervals are greatly extended as well as reducing maintenance and costs.

DESCRIPTION:

BENTONITE EP 2 GREASE is an inorganic clay based grease for plain and rolling bearings operating at tem-peratures higher than those at which conventional soap based greases can be used.

BENTONITE EP 2 GREASE is amber coloured multi-purpose grease containing anti corrosion and EP ad-ditives and is suitable for most conditions especially at elevated temperatures.

The grease performance is limited only by the proper-ties of the base oil. This grease will give excellent serv-ice life at temperatures in excess of 160°C, provided the re-lubrication period is suitable adjusted.

This grease is mostly used for fans, plumber blades under ground mining, plastic injection moulders, etc.
