Terostat-MS 935

Terostat-MS 935 is an elastic, one-component sealant/adhesive based on silane-modified polymer. It displays universaladhesion without primer and shows good resistance to weathering, UV rays and ageing. It can be painted over, curesquickly and has a very low volume shrinkage (100% solid). After having cured completely, Terostat-MS 935 displayshigh abrasion resistance. It is free of solvents, PVC, isocyanates and silicone and is odourless.

Terostat-MS 939

For outside use it must be painted over.

Terostat-81 is a profiled, black, extremely tacky butyl sealant with firm plastic consistency. Suitably prepared, Terostat-81 can be subjected to spot welding.

Terostat-7390

Terostat-7390 is an anthracite-coloured, sprayable, extremely tacky butyl sealant which is applied hot (approx. 100 °C)and adheres even to slightly oily sheet metal. It can be subjected to spot welding; since it is easily displaced, it can bealso used as a welding paste.

Terokal-2441 is a solvent-free, high-quality, two-component adhesive based on epoxy resin. The product may be usedfor most different bonding and sealing jobs. A particular advantage of Terokal-2441 is the variable mixing ratio from 3:1to 2:3. Thus the cured film becomes softer or harder.

Macroplast UK 8222 (Terokal-722)

Macroplast UK 8222 is a solvent-free, two-component polyurethane adhesive for horizontal and inclined adhesivebonding applications. It is applied using spatulas and characterised by low initial and high final strength. It is free-flowingand has a levelling effect. Indentations in the substrate are levelled-out. The thickness of the layer applied is between 1and 2 mm.

Terokal-60/2

After the solvent's evaporation, the product remains permanently plastic, resistant to ageing and weatheringand provides good sealing. Terophon-112 DB

Terophon-112 DB was especially developed for the structure-borne sound deadening in roofs and side walls of railwayvehicles. In addition to its high loss factor it displays excellent fire behaviour (see test certificates), is free of halogenand solvents and does not contain other contaminants either.

Owing to its great range of favourable properties, Terophon-112 DB has been globally used for more than 10 yearsnow with success in passenger coaches, metros, tramways or locomotives and is thus the leader among the bitumen-free dispersion products.

Terophon-123 WF

Terophon-123 WF is a sprayable, sound deadening mass based on an aqueous synthetic resin dispersion and othermaterials with a low contaminant content. In addition to its high loss factor, Terophon-123 WF displays excellent fireresistance behaviour. The dried coating can be directly exposed to moisture over a prolonged period without runningthe risk of an adhesion loss. The beginning of a slight plastifying process of the coating is reversible. A permanentexposure to water for more than 3 months must be avoided.

Terophon-123 WF is a further development of Terophon-112 DB. Owing to its increased resistance to water, it can also be applied in floor areas (in addition to the wall and roof areas of application), assuming that appropriate waterdrainage holes be provided. With respect to corrosion protection, the relevant provisions of the German Railways (DB AG) must be adhered to.

Terotex-218

Terotex-218 is an airless sprayable coating mass based on an aqueous synthetic resin dispersion with a good fireresistance behaviour and very good adhesion to wood and primer-coated metals (two-component epoxy primercoatings). The dried coating is flexible, UV-proof and highly abrasive resistant. Once dried completely, it can be painted over. It is free of solvents, PVC or isocyanates and is odourless.

Terotex-218 has a good loss factor and can therefore be used for the structure-borne noise absorption of railwayvehicles' exterior, e.g. wheel guards of low-loader wagons.

Metallon E 2602

Metallon E 2602 is a high-quality, pasty, solvent-free two-component adhesive based on epoxy resin. It displays a widerange of adhesion. Owing to its high tensile shear strength, this adhesive is often used for metal/metal adhesivebondings.

Metallon E 2602 was especially developed for the generation of glued insulated fastenings created at the DB AG "S"type rails and point switches. The load at rupture under tensile load (140 - 165 t) measured on the test bench isdefinitely above the maximum tensile load of 70 - 90 t, as it occurs for example in the rail S 49 (rail length 120 m).Combined with the specifically modified rigid fabric F from the KKV Kassebaum GmbH company, this insulatedfastening ensures control of the track circuit and guarantees a welded track without joints.

The "S" type insulated fastening generated using Metallon E 2602 is characterised by its high technical performance,long lifetime (approx. 12 to 14 years) and low maintenance costs. This is why it has been employed more than 10million times in every continent since 1964.
