ABOUT THE JOB Provides primary assistance to Operations by communicating and coordinating delivery requirements between
customers, manufacturing schedules and commitments. Responsible for initiating, gathering, documenting
and reporting on highly detailed and complex production data for the efficient and productive use of upper level
management
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain data accuracy for projects including material usage, labor hours, and project completion on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as required in a variety of systems – Excel, SAP, and Track.Net.
Handle inbound and outbound logistics, primarily flatbeds, following established process for booking freight through company system and proactively follow up to ensure freight has been booked at the best possible price. Promptly and professionally troubleshoot as necessary.
Daily entry of production paperwork ensuring data accuracy and troubleshooting errors or missing information.
Creates, review and analyze daily production report and provides recommendations for Plant Manager
Performs month end closing responsibilities
Coordinate and communicate delivery status of shipments to customers.
Create Bill of Lading in SAP for sales orders, ring blanks and post goods.
Coordinate with plant management and shipping team to ensure loose parts and materials are delivered on time.
Confirm contract closures in conjunction with accounting
Ensure correct invoices are sent to customers on a timely basis and in the required format
Backup of movement of time in KRONOS as needed

Responsible to efficiently execute the annual inventory counting process and be within established corporate tolerances.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
3-4 years similar experience (Production Control, Demand Planning, Scheduling and Logistics) in a manufacturing environment
1-2 years of experience in the Construction Infrastructure, Pipe or Heavy Highway industry would be preferred
Highly skilled in the use of Software: MS Office Suite( Excel, Word, Outlook),Access database, SAP, Kronos,
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university is preferred
