Simultaneous A/B Input Support Extends
Monitoring Functions (SIM Option)
This capability allows two input signals to be
monitored simultaneously allowing operation
staff to quickly determine if a video quality
problem existed in the input signal, or arose
within their facility. This is especially helpful
when checking for transparency during format
conversion.
Numerical and Graphical Display of A/V
Delay (AVD Option)
The option helps diagnose and easily correct
audio-to-video synchronization problems.
This feature gives the installer or maintainer
an added dimension of testing to insure complete
system integrity. The AV delay measurement
provides a distinctive zero reference indicator
and the A/V measurement indicator.
CaptureVu - Much More Than Freezing
a Display
The CaptureVu can capture and store the
video data from an entire video frame and
display this data on waveform, Vector, Gamut
and Picture displays. Triggered captures are
particularly useful for finding intermittent errors
and for capturing data about fault conditions
at remote sites.

Thorough and Fast Content Verification
Using the alarm status display, operators and
technicians can quickly detect video faults
including gamut, EDH, and CRC errors, SDI
format problems, and many more. The instrument
offers several alarm notification methods,
including on-screen error icons, audible beep,
ground-closure output, and SNMP traps.
USB ports and Headphone connector
The front-panel USB port makes it easy to
store captured data or instrument settingson a USB memory stick and transfer this
information to another instrument. All audio
options can output to the front-panel headphone
port. All models have a 10/100Base-T ethernet
connection and offer remote access and
control with a standard web-browser. You can

The WVR6020 / WVR7020 / WVR7120 family provides Tektronix'

Facilitate Centralized Monitoring
The WVR series instruments can be remotely
accessed and controlled through a variety of
mechanisms: remote front panel, web
interface, ground closure and SNMP. The
remote front panel WVRRFP allows operators
to access and control the base unit from
a distance of up to 100 feet, using a cable.
Passive Loop-through Inputs -
Transparent Monitoring
Tektronix Waveform Rasterizers allow for
transparent monitoring at any point of the
signal path. This feature is indispensable to
assure transparent monitoring throughout
the entire signal path without introducing
distortion.

Picture Quality Analysis System
PQA500
The PQA500 is the latest-generation Picture Quality Analyzer built on
the reputation of Tektronix Emmy Award winning PQA200/300. Based
on concepts of the human vision system, the PQA500 provides a suite
of repeatable, objective quality measurements that closely correspond
with subject human visual assessment. These measurements provide
valuable information to engineers working to optimize video compression
and recovery, and maintaining a level of common carrier and distribution
transmission service to clients and viewers.

CerifyLiteTM
CerifyLite provides an objective test solution to these challenges in a
convenient software package for use on PCs and laptops. It is ideal

CerifyLite provides the same full range of encoding and baseband

Multiformat Video Generator
TG700
The TG700 is a multiformat, analog and digital, precision signal
generation platform. The TG700 offers sync pulse generation and
test signal generation for a wide array of analog, serial digital and
digital high-definition formats. The Generator has a modular architecture
that offers the flexibility to meet the single format and growing
multiformat needs of the video professional. The TG700 mainframe
allows up to four modules to be fitted in the mainframe.
AGL7- Analog Genlock
1. Stable & Robust Genlock - Stay GenLockTM.
2. Three black outputs (selectable for HDTV
tri-level or NTSC or PAL).
The AGL7 Analog GenLock Module adds the
capacity to lock to a variety of signals, whichmakes the TG700 an ideal solution as the
master house reference or slave reference
for broadcast and production/post-production
applications.
AG7- Audio Generator
The AG7 provides eight channels (four AES/
EBU pairs) of audio signal generation. It also
provides two channels (1 AES/EBU pair) of
silence as well as a 48 kHz clock output.
DVG7- Digital Video Generator
The DVG7 is a multiformat test signal generator.
The DVG7 Digital Video Generator supports
525 and 625 component digital at 270 Mb/s
and NTSC composite digital at 143.181818
Mb/s. The DVG7 Digital Video Generator
has two identical test signal outputs. With
Option BK, two additional identical serial
digital black signal outputs are available. The
module supports AV timing mode and up to
16 channels of 20- or 24-bit audio sampled
at 48 kHz embedded on the test signal
outputs. The user can independently set
frequency and level for each channel.

Multiformat Video Generator
TG700
AWVG7- Analog Wideband Video Generator
The AWVG7 is an Analog Wideband Video
Generator that supports a variety of HD analog
component formats (YPbPr or GBR). The
module provides two identical component
outputs with a bandwidth of 30 MHz. Up to
two AWVG7 Analog Wideband Video
Generators can be placed in a single TG700
mainframe.
ATG7- Analog Test Generator
The ATG7 Composite Analog Test Generator
supports PAL, NTSC and NTSC NoSetup. It
provides one test signal output, one color bar
test signal output and two black outputs. The
black outputs can independently generate
H, V, Blackburst and subcarrier.
HDLG7-HD Dual-Link Video Generator
The HDLG7 is a test signal generator that
provides two identical Dual-Link high definition
serial digital interface (HD SDI) outputs. The
module supports video formats that require
the use of a Dual-Link interface, such as
4:4:4 RGB, at rates up to 1080i/60 Hz or
1080p/30 Hz or 4:2:2: YCbCr at rates up to
1080p/60 Hz. The HDLG7 supports several
standard test signals, and also has the unique
ability to up-convert an arbitrary single-link
HD SDI input signal to a duallink format forthe outputs. The HDLG7 also supports digital
cinema 2K formats and test patterns.
