They were manufactured between May 13, 2011 and May 16, 2012. The third through sixth characters of the serial number identify the manufacturing date. The third character is the month, for example D for April, E for May and F for June. The fourth and fifth characters are the day of the month. The sixth character is the last digit of the year of manufacture. Model, item and serial number are located on a white label on the bottom of motor housing. The 7.5 amp electric blowers are black. Remington, Mighty Sweep and RM180B appear on a sticker on both sides of the unit.

This recall involves Vibe USB mobile power bars also known as portable USB power supply or portable chargers. The power bars were sold in black, white, blue, green, pink and purple. The rectangular-shaped power bars measure one square inch by three inches long and have a cord with key ring attached at the end. “Power Bank” is embossed on the face of the device. “Vibe” and “Power Bar” are printed on the front of the black packaging along with an image of the device in one of the six colors. Model number FB-Bar is printed below the UPC code on the bottom of the packaging.

DGL Group has received six reports of incidents involving melted parts, smoking, leaking batteries and fire resulting in reports of bursting power bars and minor property damage. No injuries have been reported.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled power bar, unplug it from the electrical outlet and return it to the DGL Group for a full refund and a $5 coupon towards another purchase at Five Below.

DESCRIPTION

This recall involves four models of White-Rodgers digital thermostats. The thermostats are white with blue lighted screens and have one of the following names printed on the front of them: “COMFORTSENTRY,” “DICO,” “Emerson,” “Frigidaire,” “Maytag,” “Nutone,” “Partners Choice,” “Rheem,” “Ruud,” “Unico,” “Water Furnace,” “Westinghouse,” “White-Rodgers” or “Zonefirst.” The thermostats have a battery door on the top left corner. There are three or four buttons to the right and also below the thermostat screen. Recalled thermostats do not show a battery icon on the left side of the blue lighted screen.

The firm has received seven reports of burn damage to the thermostat, including two involving minor property damage. No injuries have been reported.

It has been identified that the antibiotic ceftriaxone can interfere with the way the measurement is made and may lead to incorrectly low blood glucose readings. Ceftriaxone is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat a wide variety of common infections.

HAZARDS

If an incorrect blood glucose reading is shown it may pose a health hazard to the user.

Consumers who are using the Accu-Chek Mobile meter and who are undergoing treatment with ceftriaxone are advised to seek advice from a health professional.

An alternative blood glucose monitoring system should be used for the duration of treatment with ceftriaxone at no charge.

HAZARD:

Children can get entangled in the electrical cord that hangs from the children’s wall-mounted lamps, posing a strangulation hazard.

INCIDENTS/INJURIES

A 15-month-old baby became entangled in the TASSA NATT lamp’s cord and nearly strangled. This incident, and the death of a 16-month-old baby who died after getting entangled in the SMILA lamp’s cord, were reported in the previous recall. In both incidents, which occurred in Europe, the lamp cord was pulled into the crib by the infants.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled lamps, remove them from the wall and contact IKEA for a free repair kit. Do not use the lamp until the repair kit is installed. The repair kit has self-adhesive fasteners for attaching the lamp’s cord to the wall as well as safety instructions.

This recall involves Blade 700 X Pro Series Kit, Pro Series Combo and the replacement spindle set. The kits and combos come with parts to assemble a radio-controlled helicopter. When assembled, the helicopter is about 53 inches long and 15.5 inches tall and weighs about 12 pounds. It has a blue, yellow, black and silver canopy with the 700 X logo on each side, two white skids, a black tail boom with the word Blade on each side, a tail rotor and a main rotor assembly with two blades. The rotor blades are black and gray with the word Revolution on each. The defective washer is flat and silver and about 1/2 inch in diameter. It is used to hold the two main rotor blade grips in place on the helicopter.

The recalled Pro Series Kit is model number BLH5725 and includes the helicopter canopy and the mechanical parts necessary to build the helicopter without the main rotor blades or electronics.

The recalled Pro Series Combo is model number BLH5725C and includes the helicopter canopy, the mechanical parts necessary to build the helicopter, the main rotor blades, a receiver, servos and motor.

The recalled replacement spindle set is model number BLH5703 and includes two spindle shafts, two screws and four washers.

Model numbers for the kit and combo are on the UPC label on one end of the product packaging. The model number for the spindle set is on the front of the packaging.

This recall involves girl’s “Sugarfly” brand peacoat. The double breasted wool and polyester garment comes with a waist drawstring sewn into the outside seam of the garment. The coats come in three different colors; solid black, charcoal plaid and purple plaid. The coats were sold in girls’ sizes S (7-8), M (10-12), L (14), and XL (16). Style number KEM236 is located on the label found inside on the side seam of the garment. “Sugarfly” is printed on a label sewn into the neck of the coat.

HAZARD:

The coats have a drawstring tie sewn into the side seam at the waist that could become snagged or caught in small spaces or vehicle doors, posing significant entanglement hazard to children. In February 1996, CPSC issued guidelines about drawstrings in children's upper outerwear. In 1997, those guidelines were incorporated into a voluntary standard. Then, in July 2011, based on the guidelines and voluntary standard, CPSC issued a federal regulation. CPSC's actions demonstrate a commitment to help prevent children from strangling or getting entangled on neck and waist drawstrings in upper outerwear, such as jackets and sweatshirts.

A drawstring is around the neck of the jackets and hoodies. The hoodies come in a variety of color combinations; such as red, purple, grey, red/black/white, green/black, and black. The jackets come in pink/white and in solid blue and pink.
