About Us The “Technische Bürsten GmbH” in Spremberg is one of the most traditional companies in the city. Founded in 1833 as a brush factory for the Lusatian textile industry, the product range is expanding constantly. Today, the product range includes wire brushes of various kinds, applied by industry, households, craftsmen, and for hobby applications. Our products are present in many markets around the world.

Our portfolio for you

The product range is constantly being expanded qualitatively and according to customer's requirements. Quality is not seen immediately, but is experienced when our brush simply lasts longer. The service life is the quality feature of brushes made in Spremberg.

Our product portfolio covers a well-balanced selection of all common technical brushes for workshop, hobby and industrial uses. Our standard packaging contains 100 brushes in a box (smaller packaging units available for an additional charge).

Special production

Custom-made brushes are available on request. We are pleased to advise you and offer you suitable solutions. Additionally, we can print the brushes for an extra charge based on your films and with an EAN code.

Ordering Guide We manufacture the brushes for your individual surface processing. We determine the suitable brushes for your processing tasks in three steps. We are pleased to respond to your individual requests.

1. Determine the area of application

The processing task as well as the geometry of the workpiece enable you to find the most suitable brush. The main areas of application are for technical brushes the following:

Deburring in particular of secondary burrs that arise during milling, grinding, turning and drilling

Cleaning Rust removal, descaling Weld processing

Structuring Cleaning, stripping Matting, satin finishing Roughening

2. Select brush type

The desired brushing effect defines the selection of the brush type. We offer all 3 types of industrial brushes for any purpose of application:

Hand brushes for quick and reliable application, Twisted-in brushes to perform precisely, Power brushes for high performance.

3. Select filling material

The material processed determines the most suitable filling material. We offer you the following materials:

Steel wire Stainless steel wire (e.g. V2A, V4A) Plastic trim (e.g. nylon) Natural hair (e.g. goat) Brass wire etc.

The selection of the right trim material depends on the respective properties. Please do not hesitate to contact us for personal advice regarding your requested brush.

Exemplary applications

The brushes with steel wire are suited best for rust removal, deburring, roughening, paint stripping, cleaning, etc. The brushes with brass-coated steel wire offer additional surface protection of the wire. The corrugations are especially intended for gentler surface processing. The brushes with brass wire are especially suitable for roughening, descaling, polishing, cleaning. Chrome-plated surfaces are not damaged.

6. Spark Plug Brushes, Printing Type Brushes Scratch brushes are available in various working widths (number of rows), with beechwood body, neatly rounded handle edges and with different wire thicknesses.

Steel Wire

The most important characteristic of steel wires is tensile strength. Hold the standard wires 1400-2000N / mm². Particularly suitable for derusting, deburring, roughening, stripping and cleaning.


Brassed Steel Wire

It has a very high tensile strength and is used for brushing and deburring work. The brass surface protects the brush against corrosion.

Stainless steel wire

Is resistant to corrosion and high temperatures. We use V4A wire if the trim material has to be particularly resistant to acids and alkalis. This wire is also anti-magnetic. Particularly suitable for the post-treatment of weld seams and spark-free stainless steel surface processing.

Brass and bronze wires

The wires are suitable for processing non-ferrous metals because they are softer than steel wires. They are also used for handling light alkalis or if spark-free brushes are required.

PA trim / plastic trim

The plastic PA nylon (polyamide) is characterized by very good chemical resistance and is a particularly oil-resistant plastic. Brushes with these fillings are abrasion-resistant and resistant to weak acids and alkalis, but only partially heat-resistant. You need this material for cleaning, in some cases also for light deburring work.

General Supply and Payment Conditions 1. General

The following supply conditions apply exclusively to all our deliveries. Deviating agreements or supplements are only binding if we have confirmed them in writing. Any conflicting purchasing conditions of the buyer are not valid, even if they are not expressly contradicted in writing.

2. Offer and conclusion of contract

Our offers are freely revocable until the contract is concluded. The orders placed with us only become binding with our written order confirmation. The illustrations, drawings, weight and measurement details attached to our offers are only approximate, unless they are expressly designated as agreed in writing. We reserve ownership rights and copyrights to illustrations, drawings and construction and other documents; they may not be made accessible to third parties.

3. Prices

Unless otherwise agreed, all prices are understood to be ex works, excluding value added tax, customs duties and other public legal charges levied in the Federal Republic of Germany or abroad. The prices are based on the wage and material costs currently available to us. A change in this basis entitles us to adjust our sales prices accordingly.

4. Payments

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, payments must be made free of charge and charge after 30 days. For payments made within 10 days, the buyer can deduct a 2% discount from the net sales value. For the punctuality of the payment it is not the dispatch, but the receipt of the money or the credit on the bank account specified by us that is decisive.

If the payment deadlines are exceeded, interest and bank commission are calculated in accordance with the respective bank rates for overdrafts from the due date, but at least interest of 5% above the respective discount rate of the Deutsche Bundesbank or the ECB. We reserve the right to claim higher damages.

All claims of the contractor fall due immediately if the client declares himself insolvent by filing for bankruptcy or otherwise. Foreign bank expenses etc. the client generally bears.

5. Supply, delivery time, shipping

The delivery times are stated and adhered to to the best of our ability. In the event of a delay in delivery, unless it is based on intent or negligence, the customer has no right to compensation. Force majeure events that cause malfunctions entitle you to withdraw from the contract in part or in full.

The delivery period is extended appropriately, in the event of measures in the context of industrial disputes, in particular in the event of strikes and lockouts, as well as in the event of unforeseen obstacles that are beyond the will of the supplier, insofar as such obstacles are demonstrably of considerable influence on the completion or delivery of the delivery item.

This also applies if the circumstances also occur with sub-suppliers. In important cases, the supplier will inform the buyer as soon as possible of the start and end of such obstacles.

Unless otherwise agreed, shipping is always carried out on the most convenient transport route at our discretion. The client must immediately notify the contractor of any transport damage and note this on the delivery note of the freight forwarder, the parcel service, etc. Otherwise no processing can take place or no compensation can be paid.

6. Warranty

The buyer is obliged to check immediately after receipt of the delivery. Complaints about obvious defects must be made within two weeks of receipt. If hidden defects occur, the notification must be given to us immediately - at the latest three months after delivery - after discovery of the defect.

In the event of justified complaints, we will, at our own discretion, repair, replace or reduce the purchase price. The scope of the guarantee always refers only to the actual delivery and the prices calculated in connection with this delivery. Follow-up costs and damages cannot be recognized in connection with a notice of defects due to the delivery of defective goods or for other reasons. There are therefore no further claims by the purchaser, in particular for compensation for damage that has not occurred to the delivery item itself. We are not obliged to remedy defects as long as the buyer does not meet his payment obligations. In the event of complaints after three months, the buyer is obliged to provide evidence of the proper storage of the goods, in particular the exclusion of moisture.

7. Retention of title

The goods remain the property of the seller (reserved goods) until the buyer fulfils all payment obligations from the business relationship. The buyer is only entitled to resell the reserved goods in the ordinary course of business; he hereby assigns the purchase price claims thus incurred to the seller as soon as they arise. The goods remain our property even if they have been installed in machines, systems or the like. The buyer is obliged to keep the reserved goods free from the rights of third parties, not to pledge the reserved goods or to transfer them as security.

If we take back goods from the buyer without being obliged to do so, especially if the buyer becomes insolvent, our invoiced claim remains unaffected by the buyer. The statutory provisions on the sale of pledges apply to the recovery of the returned goods. This does not apply if the payment law applies to the buyer.

8. Scope of the obligation to deliver

Unless other agreements are expressly made in writing, our deliveries with regard to quality, design and dimensions are based on the relevant known DIN regulations, on the catalogue information with tolerances or on samples provided by us.

9. Seller's right to withdraw

If it becomes known after the conclusion of the purchase contract that the customer is in an unfavourable financial position, we can demand collateral for the consideration or withdraw from the contract, taking into account the expenses we have made.

10. Place of performance, place of jurisdiction

The place of performance is Spremberg, the place of jurisdiction for all contractual claims and obligations is the district court in Cottbus.

11. Miscellaneous

The ineffectiveness of one or more provisions of these delivery and payment conditions does not affect the effectiveness of this contract in the above. The contract remains legally effective even if individual points are invalid. Only German law is decisive for the interpretation. Only the original German text is binding for the application of the terms of delivery and payment, even if the text is translated in a foreign language.
