W I N N E R

2010 was a challenging year of ups and downs for me personally, for Space Air and for the industry as a

whole. The year began much the same for many in our sector, with a high degree of uncertainty; uncertainty

about the continuing impact of the economic downturn and uncertainty about the political situation.

For my part all that became insignificant with the sudden death of my fellow Director, friend and colleague,

Roger Taylor. This tragic event not only impacted on me but everyone at Space Air. As IT and Operations

Director, Roger’s influence at Space Air was beyond measure and the loss immense.

On the positive side, Roger left an invaluable legacy in the highly efficient systems he designed and

managed.

Very much ‘up’ events were the marriage of my daughter, I quit smoking! and Space Air marked 30 years

as an independent Daikin distributor with a fantastic celebration on the London Thames Dixie Queen with

friends and colleagues alike.

Space Air’s highly competent & professional staff stayed together and worked hard all year; this was reflected

in our T/O and profitability both showing a healthy improvement over 2009.

There will be different challenges ahead in this ever-diverse industry and we are fully prepared to meet the

market demands and continue to develop, improve and forward plan for even greater success in the future.

Space Air is confident it will continue to provide unparalleled customer services and support for many years

to come. I am grateful for a year like 2010, it has made Space Air work even smarter and become meaner

and leaner!
