3D Routing A routing tool on a high frequency spindle guided by a robot that trims materials such as foam, plastics, fiber-reinforced plastics, fiberglass and reinforced composite materials. Positioning for trimming pieces on the machine table is achieved by a flip frame. Fixation of part is by clamps and/or vacuum. Though suitable for very high capacity applications this system also provides more flexibi-lity allowing pre-series and prototypes to be produ-ced cost effectively.
