GE’s patented CleanMe® remote maintenance
reporting feature enables compatible
conventional smoke detectors to send an
alert to the FireworX control panel if the
detector drifts out of the UL sensitivity range.
This feature reduces the chance of a false
alarm and simplifi es service calls.
Meanwhile, exclusive built-in drift
compensation dramatically extends the time
between cleanings – and if cleaning is ever
necessary, GE’s exclusive optical chamber
takes just seconds to replace!

Heat DetectorsCR/CF Series and 280B-PL Series heat detectors offer fixed temper-ature or combination rate-of-rise and fixed temperature detection in a plastic housing. A sudden temperature increase at the sensor activates the rate-of-rise feature. If the temperature of the center disk rises to the sensor’s rated temperature, the fixed temperature element activates.

EC-50R/-100R
Reflective Beam DetectorData Sheet FX85001-0560
The EC-50R/-100R comprises a transmitter and receiver in a single enclosure and is usually installed between 19 inches and 24 inches below the ceiling. The transmitter emits an invisible infrared light beam that is reflected via a prism mounted directly opposite and with a clear line of sight. The reflected infrared light is detected by the receiver and analyzed.

SuperDuct Series
Duct Smoke DetectorsData Sheet FX85001-0583 (four-wire) Data Sheet FX85001-0585 (two-wire)
SuperDuct smoke detection is ideally suited to HVAC applications where early indication of combustion is required within the confined space of ventilation ductwork. SuperDuct detectors continually sample air flow in the HVAC duct and initiate an alarm condition whenever smoke is detected. Air velocity in the duct as low as 100 ft/min. maintains adequate air flow into the sensor smoke chamber through air-holes in the air sampling tube and discharges through the exhaust tube.
