Product Description PIPESCRUB™ casing cleaner is used, prior to gravel packing operations, for the removal of pipe dope
residues within the drill pipe. Pipe dope, a mixture of oil, thickening agents and a solid lubricant, can causesignificant formation damage if not removed prior to gravel packing. PIPESCRUB casing cleaner containsnatural solvents from a renewable source.
Applications / Functions
PIPESCRUB casing cleaner is intended as a pre-flush to help remove excess pipe dope prior to pumping acid-based pickling solutions.

Recommended Treatment
PIPESCRUB casing cleaner is usually pumped directly in front of the acid solution in pipe pickling operations. Pump to the end of tubing and reverse out. Alternatively pump PIPESCRUB casing cleaner and acid solution as a two stage process, pumping and reversing out the PIPESCRUB casing cleaner followed by pumping and reversing the acid solution. See your local Baroid Representative to determining specific job pump rates and volumes.
Packaging PIPESCRUB casing cleaner is packaged in 55-gal (208-l) drums containing 385-lb (175-kg) net weight.
