Product DescriptionThe Nedap ANPR Access reader automatically reads the number plates of approaching vehicles. The compact all-in-one unit includes the camera, analyser and infrared illuminator. The ANPR Access combines with the Wiegand Interface Module to ensure easy and seamless integration into most access control systems.

The ANPR Access reads number plates and sends them to the Wiegand Interface Module, which converts each valid number plate into a Wiegand ID string and sends it to the access control panel in the same way as a standard card reader. The Wiegand number can then be checked for access rights so that access can be granted or denied accordingly.

The Nedap ANPR Access covers all European countries plus many countries world-wide, supporting a large range of infrared-reflective number plates.

The ANPR Access is the ideal solution for vehicle access control applications where issuing of tags is difficult or inappropriate.
