RS-485 Equipment RS-485 bus still remains the most popular bus due to its

low cost. Data transfer goes on differential twisted pair in half-duplex mode.

Advantages: not susceptibility to noise, high reliability, low cost.

Disadvantages: need for cabling, complexity of connections, limited length of a cable(1200 m) and number of modules (up to 32).

There are special amplifiers, repeaters signals to increase length of a cable and number of modules.

takes readings by four parameters

Supports both protocols A-BUS and MODBUS. Has high accuracy of readings from sensors with digital signal transmission.
