Securiton Product Catalogue 2007 - SecuriPro® 3

Introduction This product catalogue describes the most important components within the fire alarm system SecuriPro®. All Securiton fire alarm systems, system components and detectors are developed and manufactured in Switzerland/Germany and comply with the most currently applicable standards (European standards, specifications made by fire brigades as well as European Institutes for Testing and Certification, etc.), as well as representing the cutting edge of technology based upon the most up-to-date scientific knowledge. Securiton's high quality standard has been documented by means of a quality assurance system, which has been certified for all divisions of the company in accordance with ISO 9001:2000. The planning of fire alarm systems, as well as the installation, commissioning and maintenance of products and the systems which they form, require special technical knowledge, and may therefore only be carried out by professionals who have been trained in this field. The product-specific training of technical staff must therefore either be carried out by Securiton or by persons who have been authorised by Securiton for this specific purpose. Additionally, the prevailing regulations and directives specific to the respective country with regard to planning, installation and use of products must be noted and observed without exception. Securiton is not liable for damages and consequential dam-ages occurring as a result of tampering with or modifying our products, or as a result of their improper usage. This is also the case where items have been improperly stored or where there have been other external factors involved. Mains Filter Module

The mains filter protects the system against malfunctions caused by electromagnetic disturbances in a wide frequency range, trans-mitted via mains connection. The MFM is highly recommended in industrial environments or wherever EMC may cause a problem.

EPSU

This power supply is designed for supplying special fire protection systems such as ADW, ASD, TSC and fire alarm systems or their peripheral devices. A modular case system is available for made-to-measure installa-tion of the EPSU 24/10, which allows, along with the installation of a power supply, power supply clips and a temperature sensor, for housing the necessary battery capacity based on the customer‘s requirements. The EPSU is approved according to EN54-4 and VdS 2541 Standard configuration.
