Welkom bij de Neolith-catalogus 2019. Neolith, vooraanstaand merk in de Gesinterd Steen-markt, viert zijn 10-jarig jubileum.

In deze 10 jaar Neolith hebben we ons steeds ten doel gesteld om oppervlakken van hoge kwaliteit met een fraai design te bieden aan architecten, interieurontwerpers, bouwers, werkplaatsen en meubelmakers.

Daar hoort applaus bij voor het brein achter deze mijlpaal, de bedrijfsleiding die met toewijding en overtuiging de weg gebaand heeft voor Neolith’s geboorte en vooruitgang.

Combining high-definition detailed decoration with high-performance qualities, Neolith offers the triple reassurance of strength, beauty and longevity.

What is a Sintered Stone? Sintered Stone is a 100% natural material based on granite minerals, glass minerals and natural oxides:1. Granite Materials: Quartz and feldspar, giving hardness and strength to the surface.2. Glass minerals and silica, which ensures chemical stability.3. Natural oxides, which deliver chromatic properties.

How is Sintered Stone produced? Neolith is produced using the very latest in sintering technology, replicating the thousands of years’ process by which natural stone is formed in a matter of hours. The raw materials which form the slab are first subjected to extremely high pressure, going through a pressing machine where a weight of 400 bars is applied. In the second phase of the process, the slab goes through a kiln where temperatures reach more than 1200°C (2200°F). This process of ultra-compaction creates full-body surfaces with unique technical features.

Decoration: Neolith has always been at the forefront of sustainable approaches within all of its manufacturing processes. A 100% natural composition requires an equally ecological production method. Building on our pioneering Neolith Digital Design (NDD), we have aimed to incorporate organic practice into the way we print our slabs. Hydro-NDD 2.0 takes our technology to the next level. Using a water-based ink, as opposed to the industry standard solvent base, we have succeeded in offering a sustainable surface which never compromises on the quality expected from Neolith Sintered Stone. All our slabs maintain the same definition and detail of pattern and design.

WHAT IS NEOLITH?

Lighter than many cladding or interior surfaces, Neolith can be produced in varying degrees of thickness, including an ultra-thin 3mm depth. At 6mm it’s used on skyscrapers, at 20mm it’s an attractive kitchen island. WHY NEOLITH IS NOT CERAMICS?

The difference between Neolith and traditional ceramics can be easily registered by comparing each surfaces’ characteristics.

Although traditional ceramics share some similar properties, none possess the performance qualities of Neolith, which combines stain, scratch, chemical and heat resistance in one single material.

Furthermore, the raw minerals used in the production of Neolith are far finer and purer, guaranteeing a more uniform structure than found in traditional ceramics.

The machinery used to process these raw materials is unique, designed specifically for manufacturing Neolith. Fitted with state of the art equipment utilising the latest technology, the production line ensures Sintered Stone of the very highest quality.

The raw materials are pressed at a significantly higher pressure than found in ceramic production to obtain a denser, stronger final product.

Afterwards, the pressed materials are fired for almost two hours, substantially longer than traditional ceramics, which have much shorter firing cycles. These longer firing cycles create a product with a highly-resistant, non-absorbent surface.

These improvements in raw materials and production techniques result in Neolith, an enhanced surface with superior technical characteristics.

Om deze grondstoffen te verwerken worden unieke machines gebruikt, die speciaal ontworpen zijn voor de fabricage van Neolith. De productielijn is voorzien van de modernste, meest geavanceerde technologie en equipment, waardoor de hoge kwaliteit van het product gewaarborgd wordt.

Neolith is available in different finishes that are giving richness and value to the designs created with those surfaces: from rough textures with relief up to shiny polished with linear reflections. All a repertoire to stimulate the sight and touch.

Matte finish with a thin layer of glaze that provides a subtle shine and a nice soft touch. Surface finish that results extremely easy to clean.

Completely matte finish. Highly resistant and ideal for commercial applications.

SPECIAL FINISHES

The Piattibelli shower tray comes in a wide range of measurements and colors, making it the perfect bathroom solution. Easy to install, in a single piece and jointless.

Piattibelli shower trays, manufactured by PiattiBelli S.L use NEOLITH as the paneling surfaces and feature completely slip-free finishes, pursuant to ITC/DIN STANDARD 51097:1992, ANTI-SLIP RESISTANCE CLASS C3 certification.

The Piattibelli shower tray is produced with Ultra Slim manufacturing technology, a patented system that is unique on the market, through which the raw material is molded to achieve a product that is only 18 mm thick.It’s ideal for remodeling as the thickness does not create barriers or differences in level at the shower entrance. Moreover, any possible filtration disappears since it is manufactured in a single, jointless piece.

With this cutting edge technology, Neolith can be curved to create progressive evacuation slopes designed to facilitate fast water evacuation (pursuant to ITC/UNE-EN 14527:2006 STANDARD + A1:2010 SECT. 5.2 certification). The combination of this technology and the drainage valve by Viega, which is the market leader with its Tempoplex 80 models, guarantees an evacuation rate of 0.64 L/sec., making it the most effective on the market.

Neolith does not manufacture the Piattibelli shower trays; it only distributes them in various markets.

De Piattibelli-douchebak wordt gemaakt met de fabricagetechniek Ultra Slim, een gepatenteerd systeem dat uniek is in de markt. The Estatuario, Calacatta, Calacatta Gold, Onyx Translucent, Blanco Carrara and Nero Marquina models have the possibility of being presented with a Bookmatched effect (mirror effect) the same way the natural marble can be directly extracted from the quarries. For each model there exists a Reverse option (referred to with an “R”) which enables to create boockmatched options.

The Endmatch is a very special feature that the design of the Calacatta, Calacatta Gold, Blanco Carrara and Nero Marquina own. Using the same slab just turning it 180º, it’s possible to obtain continuing vein with endless pattern.

BOOKMATCH & ENDMATCH

De modellen Estatuario, Calacatta, Calacatta Gold, Blanco Carrara en Nero Marquina kunnen verwerkt worden met Bookmatch-effect (gespiegeld effect), net zoals marmer dat rechtstreeks uit een steengroeve komt. Bij elk model is er een gespiegelde versie gecreëerd (aangegeven met de R van ‘reverse’) voor het maken van bookmatch-effecten.

Endmatch is een heel bijzonder kenmerk van het ontwerp van de modellen Calacatta en Calacatta Gold, Blanco Carrara en Nero Marquina. Door een identieke plaat te gebruiken en deze 180º te draaien kan een patroon verkregen worden met oneindig doorlopende aders.

To avoid the repetition of design in some Neolith models of 6 mm thickness, variants have been created which will be sent in a random manner once these colors are ordered, without the possibility of choosing the specific design, this does not apply to other models like Estatuario for example, you are still able to choose between 1, 4, 5.

Om herhaling van het decor te voorkomen, zijn er van enkele Neolithmodellen van 6 mm verschillende varianten gecreëerd. Deze varianten worden bij bestelling willekeurig verzonden. Bij deze kleuren bestaat niet de mogelijkheid om het specifieke decor of patroon uit te kiezen, zoals wel kan bij sommige andere modellen, bijvoorbeeld bij Estatuario 1, 4, 5.
