When contracting for goods or services from an audit client, the firm

may not receive or appear to receive

favorable treatment. This must be confirmed by the client in writing. The firm’s Independence

rules apply

Criteria for a Contract

Annual spend exceeds 50K Agreement is with individuals,

subcontractors, and independent contractors

Annual spend exceeds 3% of the supplier’s annual revenue

An entity where an individual is greater than 50% stockholder or owner of entity

When purchase goods or services are used in or re-sold as, a part of the firms

service to clients

Can I administer a Contract?

Contracts for goods or services exceeding 50K with audit clients of the firm must be negotiated

by EYSS and approved by Americas Independence before administrating

A purchase order is required when the agreement is for less than

50K per year, contains negotiated pricing or terms, and does not

meet any of the criteria listed in the guidelines of contract

administration

Who can administer a P.O.?

Administering a P.O. is limited to individuals with Accounts Payable

signature authority
