NOIDA.

VII. Payment:-75% payment on receipt of materials at site and balance 25% on installation

and final acceptance of items.

VIII. QUALIFICATION CRITERIA a. The bidder or the manufacturer whose product is offered by the authorized agent

must have manufactured and supplied satisfactorily similar furniture items of

the type specified in schedule of requirements/(BOQ) in any one of the last five

calendar years and should be in use satisfactorily with no adverse report for at

least three years on the date of bid opening.

b. The bidder should furnish the information on past supplies and satisfactory performance of similar work.

c. Bidder shall invariably furnish documentary evidence (Client‟s certificate) in

support of the satisfactory performance of the furniture as specified above.

d. Copy of the valid Authorisation Certificate must be enclosed by the dealers

/distributors of the respective manufacturer (Godrej, Wipro &Blowplast). In the absence of same the offer will be rejected.

IX. Tapestry: Colour shade of tapestry will be approved by NIB.

X. Earnest Money Deposit -The Bidder shall furnish a bid security for Rs. 8,000/-(Rupees

eight thousand only) in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of, “National

Institute of Biologicals” payable at Noida/New Delhi or Bank Guarantee as per the

enclosed format at Annexure-II from a Schedule Bank. The Bank Guarantee issuing branch should be situated in India and the Bank Guarantee should remain valid for a

period of 60 days after the bid validity period. Demand Draft/BG is to be enclosed along

with “Un-priced/Technical” bid only.

XI. Performance Security: In case of award of Supply order, vendor is required to submit

security deposit within 7 days from the date of award of order for 10% of order value in

the form of DD drawn in favour of `National Institute of Biologicals‟ payable at Noida/New Delhi or Bank Guarantee in the prescribed Form at Annexure-II. The Security deposit shall remain in force for 60 days after the expiry of guarantee/warranty period.

XII. Any bid not accompanied by Bid security/EMD will be rejected by the Purchaser as non-

responsive.

XIII. Unsuccessful bidder‟s bid security will be discharged / returned as promptly as possible

but not later than 30 days after the expiry of bid validity period prescribed by the purchaser.

XIV. The successful bidder‟s bid security will be discharged upon the bidder signing the

contract.

XV. Warranty/Guarantee: 12 Months from the date of satisfactory receipt and installation of

items at this Institute. XVI. Transit Insurance - For delivery of goods at site, the insurance shall be obtained by the

supplier for an amount equal to 110% of the value of goods from “warehouse to

warehouse” (ultimate destination) on “all risks” basis including strikes.

XVII. Delay delivery discount – In case of delayed delivery of all or any item (s) or goods the

Purchaser shall be entitled to a discount or reduction on the contract price to a sum

equivalent to 1% (one percent) of the value of goods/items delivered late for each week or part thereof subject to a maximum of 10% (ten percent) of undiscounted/unreduced

contract price for the relative good/items, and/or, risk purchase will be affected at your

risk and expenses.

Notes:

1. The offer should be submitted in two sets. One Set containing Technical details, Literature,

Catalogue, EMD etc. and Tender commercial terms should be put in a sealed cover and marked as `Technical Bid’ Prices should be kept blank.

2. The Second set should be sent in a separate sealed cover and should contain Price Schedule

only. `Price-Bid’ should be clearly mentioned on the cover.

3. Tender No., Item description and Due Date of opening should be clearly mentioned on the

envelop.

4. Both the `Technical-Bid‟ & `Price-bid‟ should then be put in a single sealed cover clearly indicating the Item, Tender No. & Due Date of opening on the sealed cover.

5. Copy of Sales Tax clearance certificate duly attested by a Gazette officer.

6. Customer reference list for similar items / materials for last three years.

7. Validity of the offer should be kept open for a period of not less than 120days.

rear filing cabinet unit of dimension 2550x375x 600 (ht) mm, with drawers on the top, with telescopic runners of hettich or equivalent make. The lower portion shall have hinged shutter doors as per drawing, with hinges of hettich or equivalent make. 2. MODULAR WORK UNIT (W-2):

Providing and installation of L type executive work unit (godrej, wipro, blowplast make) with dimensions side1--1650 x side2--2281 x600 mm(w) x760mm(h), A variation of + - 150mm either side shall be tolerable as/ availability of product in mentioned makes. .the side 2 (2281 ) shall have a 1250mm high partition panel of 50mm width, made up of a framework of modular aluminum sections (all anodized) with outer

finished panelling of laminate and tackable fabric as per the drawing provided. This partition member shall have in it separate raceways for Data and power cables, + space for recessed switch plate as per drawing provided. The tackable fabric shall have aluminum anodized channel /s for slide in tray etc. including a set of trays with it. The color and texture of laminate, fabric etc. shall be as decided by NIB. The unit shall be made up of made up of A class particle board (of different thicknesses as/ design) finished in machine pressed laminate (drawers cabinets etc.) with a 2mm pvc lipping on all edges. the unit shall have a set of drawer and cabinet set as per the drawing provided,

3. MODULAR WORK UNIT (W-3):

Supplying and installation of modular computer work unit( godrej, wipro, blowplast make) of minimum dimension 1200mm (W) x 600mm (D) x 760mm (H) with a 50mm thick panel on three sides of total ht 1250mm.A variation of + - 150mm either side shall be tolerable as/ availability of product in mentioned makes. The worktop shall be made up of A class particle board (of different thicknesses as/ design)

finished in machine pressed laminate color and texture as decided by NIB. The side and rear, 1250mm high partition panel of 50mm width, made up of a framework of modular aluminum sections (all anodized) with outer finished panelling of laminate and tackable fabric as per the drawing provided. This partition member shall have in it separate raceways for Data and power cables, + space for recessed switch plate as per drawing provided. drawer unit as per drawing provided. The drawers shall be supported on telescopic runners of hettich or equivalent make. The lower portion shall have hinged shutter doors as per drawing, with hinges of hettich or equivalent make. All the drawers, cabinets shall have 5 tumbler locking mechanism classic furniture pad lock with steel/ nickel finish, of godrej or equivalent make. All the handles shall be S.S brushed finish and to be as per approval by NIB. The flat edges shall be sealed with 2mm thick PVC beading. The unit shall be complete in all respect including of laying of specified wires (power, data and voice) in provided raceways and

fixing of switch plates, switches, sockets etc. and subsequent testing and providing in runnung condition. The complete unit shall be having nylon levelling shoes, wire managers etc. all complete.

4. OVER HEAD STORAGE UNIT:

Providing and installation of overhead cabinets of min. ht. 600mm x 375 mm(depth), made up of A class particle board (of different thicknesses as/ design) finished in machine pressed laminate (colour / texture to be as decided by NIB).A variation of up to 50mm in either dimension shall be tolerable for getting the desired product in mentioned makes. The inside to be finished in .6mm laminate –off white colour. A-class teak wood shall be used as lipping etc. wherever required, to be polished to match same shade as laminate. Cabinets to be made as per drawing provided , with all necessary fittings and fixtures such as telescopic channels, hinges, magnetic catchers (hettich make) and handles (S.S. brushed finish) , 5 tumbler locking mechanism classic furniture pad lock with steel/ nickel finish, of godrej or equivalent make (godrej make)

etc. all complete. The cabinet shall be mounted on wall using 12mm waterproof ply (duro) as backing with wooden anchors (gitti) placed @ 450mm c/c on wall. The item shall include making good any holes, wire managers, + fixing on wall wherever required.

5. LOW HEIGHT STORAGE UNIT:

Supplying Low height lateral filing cabinet Unit (godrej, wipro, blowplast make)of size 900(L) x450 (w) x 1345 (ht) mm, made up of A class particle board (of different thicknesses as/ design) finished in machine pressed laminate ,texture and shade as decided by NIB. The unit shall have a set of 4 lateral filing drawers with

EXECUTIVE’S CHAIR:

Supplying, of premium Executive Chair for executive unit (godrej, wipro, blowplast make), overall height 1160 mm max, overall width 700 mm, overall depth 700 mm having seat size 520mm (W) x 480mm (D) and back size 440mm

(W) x 660 mm(H), seat and back made up of 1.2 cm thick hot pressed plywood upholstered with fabric poly-viscose (67% Polyester + 33% Viscose) (colour and texture as decided by engineer in charge) with a weight of 330gms/ mtr., for span of 1.2 meters. Chair shall have Molded polyurethane foam together with molded seat and back covers, the seat cover should be injection molded in black co-polymer Poly Propylene and back cover shall be vacuum formed from 3 mm thick black ABS sheet, the back polyurethane foam shall be designed with contoured lumbar support and the chair must have adjustable synchrony tilting mechanism with features such as Forward tilt, Self-regulating tilt tension+ Manual overdrive, 4 position tilt-locking, Anti-shock back mechanism, Full 360 degrees swivel mechanism and it should successfully undergo Tilt Mechanism Cyclic Test, the back shall have adjustable Drop-Lift Mechanism which can be adjusted in the range of 70 mm and can be locked in 7 positions for better lumbar support, along with the pedestal 60 cm pitch centerdia (70mm with castors) shall be injection molded in black 30% glass-filled Nylon, and shall be fitted

with 5 nos. twin wheel castors and the bellow should be a 3-piece telescopic assembly made up of injection molded in black polypropylene. All steel components shall be epoxy polyester powder coated with a thickness of 45-50 micron.

The seat/back shall be made up of 1.2 cm thick hot pressed plywood, upholstered with poly viscose fabric (67% polyster + 33% Viscose), ( color and texture as decided by engineer in charge) or polyester bearing the weight of 330 gm/mtr for a span of 1.2 meters. The seat and back shall be made up of molded Polyurethane foam With PVC lipping all round. The seat (SIZE: 49.0cm. (W) x 44.0cm. (D) Should have a water fall edge and back (SIZE: 50.0cm. (W) x 49.0cm. (H) Foam shall be designed with contoured lumbar support. The one-piece armrests shall be made of black integral skin polyurethane with 50-70 „A‟ Hardness and reinforced with M.S. insert. The armrests shall be scratch and weather resistant. The armrests shall be fitted to the seat

with seat/armrest connecting strip assembly made of 0.5cm. thk. HR steel. The center pivot mechanism shall be designed with features: 3600 revolving type. 17° maximum tilt on pivot at center. Tilt tension adjustment. Upright locking. The bellows is 3 piece telescopic type and injection molded in black Polypropylene. The base shall be in chrome (glossy) finish and fitted with 5 nos. twin wheel castors (castor wheel dia. 5.0cm.). The pedestal shall be of 65.0 cm. pitch-center dia. Excise Duty:- NIB is registered with DSIR for the purpose of availing Custom Duty exemption in terms of Government Notification No. 51/96-Customs dated 23 July 1996 and Central Excise Duty exemption in terms of Government Notification No.10/97-Central Excise dated 1 March 1997 as amended from time to time. To avail the exemption, NIB shall be providing the above certificate along with the

i) This undertaking shall be a continuing undertaking and shall remain valid and irrevocable

for all claims of the Institute and liabilities of the Contractor arising up to and until the

midnightof ___________________________ .

ii) This undertaking shall be in addition to any other undertaking or guarantee or security

whatsoever that the Institute may now or at any time have in relation to its claims or the

Contractor's obligations/liabilities under and/or in connection with the said Contract, and

the Institute shall have full authority to take recourse to or enforce this undertaking in

preference to the other under-taking or security(ies) at its sole discretion, and no failure

on the part of the Institute in enforcing or requiring enforcement of any other undertaking

or security shall have the effect of releasing the Bank from its full liability hereunder.

iii) The Institute shall be at liberty without reference to the Bank and without affecting the full

liability of the Bank hereunder to take any other undertaking or security in respect of the

contract’s obligations and/or liabilities under or in connection with the said contract or to

vary the terms vis-a-vis the Contractor or the said contract or to grant time and/or

indulgence to the Contractor or to reduce or to increase or otherwise vary the prices or

the total contract value or to release or to forebear from enforcement of all or any of the

obligations of the contractor under the said contract and/or the remedies of the Institute

under any security(ies), now, or hereafter held by the Institute and no such dealing(s),

variation(s), reduction(s), increase(s), or other indulgence(s) or arrangements with the

supplier or release or forbearance whatsoever shall have the effect of releasing the bank

from the full liability to the Institute hereunder or of prejudicing rights of the Institute

against the bank.

iv) This undertaking shall not be determined or affected by the liquidation or winding up,

dissolution or change of constitution of insolvency of the contractor but shall in all

respects and for all purposes be binding and operative until payment of all moneys payable

to the Institute in terms hereof.

v) The Bank hereby waives all rights at any time inconsistent with the terms of this

undertaking and the obligations of the bank in terms hereof shall not be any wise affected

or suspended by reason of any dispute or disputes having been raised by the Contractor

(whether or not pending before any arbitrator, tribunal or court) or any denial of liability

by the Contractor or any other order or communication whatsoever by the Contractor

stopping or preventing or purporting to stop or prevent payment by the Bank to the

Corporation hereunder.

vi) The amount stated in any notice of demand addressed by the Institute to the bank as

claimed by the Institute from the Contractor or as liable to be paid to the Corporation by

the Contractor or as suffered or incurred by the Corporation on account of any losses or

damages or costs, charges and/or expenses shall be between the bank and the Institute be

conclusive of the amount so claimed or liable to be paid to the Corporation or suffered or

incurred by the Institute, as the case may be, and payable by the bank to Institute in terms

hereof.

vii) The bank doth hereby declare that Shri ____________________who is

2. This guarantee/undertaking is required to be stamped as an agreement according to the

stamp duty prescribed in the country in which it is executed.

3. This guarantee/undertaking is required to be sent by the Vendor's banker directly to the

purchaser (the Institute).

4. The Bank Guarantee should be (Nationalized or Schedule Bank) from any Indian or

foreign bank having branch in India, on non-judicial stamp paper of value commensurate

with amount as per norms. The Bank Guarantee issuing branch should be situated in India.
