RESOLUTION:- Considered and approved. Boa.rd resolved that recovery i·ate of taxes and water charges are relatively low. Recovery percentage are at much lower level than the annual demand reflected in Budget demand for 2017-18. Tax & Revenue Branch be warned to adopt all procedural steps to raise the recovery percentage and be vigilant to avoid adverse financial situation faced by Boai·d due to large dependence on grant-in-aid and lower r evenue generation.

2. INSTALLATION OF ADDITIONAL STREET LIGHTS:-

Reference C.B Resolution No. 07 dt. 09.11.2017.

The Boai·d vide its resolution referred to above have a.heady approved the work of installation of new street lights service line and 70 Nos. 30 watt L.E.D fitting with complete accessories on electric poles from pe trol pump to Muslim graveyai·d and neai· Shrinagai· road amounting to Rs. 6,30,460.54 only.

Accordingly an agreement executed between Cantonment Board, N asirabad and MIS A.R. Enterprises H.No.3997 Nasirabad on 28.11.2017.

Cantonment Board, Nasirabad vide ~.No. NCB/street light/2017-18/287/dt. 30.11.2017 issued work order to cai·1-y out aforesaid work within 120 days from the date of receipt of work order.

Elected member of v\7 ard No. 5 requested to provide service line, clamp, stay and L.E.D lights on the poles already existing within Muslim graveyard.

If such additional work is cal'l'ied out expenditure will not exceed from the ceiling of sanctioned amount of Rs. 6,30,460.54/- as earlier approved by the Board.

6. TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT IN NAS!RABAD GANTT:-

Reference Station Hqrs. Nasirabad L.No. 212/9/Civ-Cantt/dt. 11th January,2018 r eceived alongwith L.No. 40 dt. 05.01.2018 from S.H.O City Thana , Nasirabad.

It has often been brought to not ice of the board that lot of venders, locaJ shopkeepers have kept items I commodities on roadside I footpaths resulting in reduction of width of road affecting traffic management adversely and causing inconvenience to general public.

RESOLUTION:- Considered and resolved by the Board that detailed Traffic :Management Plan be put up in place for effective management of traffic in Cantonment. The ame be put up before the Boai·d in the next Board meeting for approval. Fuither various aspects such as, no parking zones, vending and no vending zones, designated, parking places, removal of temporary and permanent road side encroachments in main bazai· area, speed breakers for prevention of accidents, penalty provisions for violations etc. and any other relevant issue be taken into account before :finalization of Traffic Management Plan.

Fui'ther all relevant stake holde1·s such as elected mem hers, local administration and police, shopkeeper s associations etc. be consulted for mor e effective prepru·ation and implementation of T1·af:fic l\Ianagement Plan.

7. BUILDING BYE-LAWS:-

To inform the Board that public Notice with regard to draft building bye-laws in respect of Nasirabad Cantt. was published and pasted on all Notice boards by inviting objection/sugge tion from general public within 30 days from the date of publication of aforesaid public Notice.

Afte1· the expiry of 30 days time no objection/suggestion received in this office by 28.01.2018.

Therefore Board"s final approval is required.

8. RE PLACEMENT OF EXISTING STAFF CAR AMBASSADOR WITH SCORPlO S 7 2WD 140 BHP <Mahindra & Mahindra}

Reference circulation agenda No. NOB/Staff Cru:/2017-18/397 /dt. 13th Mai·ch 2018.

To note and approve af01·esaid Circulation agenda by which majority of members approved replacement of existing Staff Car Ambassador with Scorpio S7 2WD 140 BHP (.Mahindra & Mahindra ) . Rates procm·ed from GEM (Gove1·nment e-Market) portal for pw·chase of aforesaid make vehicle is R::;. 11,06,374/- and budgetary provisions for 2017-18 (R) under the budget head D(l)e exists.

RESOLUTION:- Matter considered along with report of Army l\Icch. v\To1·kshop 6340 which confirmed that sustenance of current fleet is a challenging proposition in the absence of genuine spare paits and accessories. Moreover due to closure of OEM further affecting the reliability of fleet.

Since budgetary provisions for pm·chase of new Scorpio - S7 2\iVD 140 BHP already exists for 2017-18 (R) under budget head D(l) e. Therefore Scorpio 87 2WD 140 BHP @ R . 11,06,374/- be pw·chased immediately. Applicable G.S.T, C.S.T, I.G.S.T and transportation chai·ges etc. is also approved.

Ambassador Staff car No. RJ-Ol-U-0276 should be put to p\lblic auction via due procedui·e, after purcha e of Scorpio.

9. OBSERVANCE OF FOUNDATION DA -

To inform the Board that Nasirabad Cantonment will complet e its 200 year s establishment yea1· in the month of June, 2018. Therefor e, Boal'd have to constiwte a committee in this rega1·d for planning of above events.

RESOLUTION:- Considered and r e olved that a committee comprising of Sh. Yoge h Soni, Vice Presiden t, Sh. Rohitash elecLed member , Kum. Seema elected member , Sh. H.S. Ivleena, I.D.E .S. Member-Secretai:y and Ivlajor A.S. Jha, ex-officio member be constituted to observe planning of above events. S.D.M. nominated member , who was made pai·t of the commi t tee expressed non-availability due to his busy schedule and commitments.

Committee will submit repor t on the matte1· r egai·ding planning and other aiTangements, event in one month for Board's approval.

It is informed to th e Board that M/s H .B. Elech·ical f.:l A-313 Palam Vihar, Gurgaon was en trusted to carry out supply and installation of 700 L.E .D. Strnet lights in Nasi.rabad Gantt. vi.de this office letter No. NGB/street lighl/2017-18/384/dt . 08.03.2018 tln·ough e-mail. It was mentioned in aforesaid letter that task should be

completed by 15.03.2018, failing which security amount will be forfitted.

Electr ic and Water supply foreman informed vi.a his note sheet d t. 15.03.2108 that l\I/s H .B . Electricals A-313 Palam Yihar . Gurgaon has failed to supply and installation work of L.E .D light by the evening of 15.03.2018.
