The following provides an overview of typical characteristics of unsuccessful process modeling. Process modeling has two complexity drivers

1.Modeling complexity talks about how difficult is it to design a model within the provided modeling environment (tool, techniques, guidelines, etc.)?

2. Complexity of the process discuss about the process of modeling itself and its impact on subsequent activities and projects, which deserves attentions

TYPICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF UNSUCCESSFUL PROCESS MODELING.

1. Lack of strategic connections. That there is no connection among elements in drafting and implementation of such model, hence it is seen as a waste.

Establish and maintain a clear and widely shared understanding of the contribution being made by process modeling to the better execution of corporate strategy.

2. Lack of governance. Way-out- Governance,i.e. accountability and decision processes that requires a clear specification and has to be adapted with changes

in the objectives, scope or size of the modeling initiative.

Be aware of all stakeholders with potential interest in modeling, and try to migrate them to one platform.
