● Ink Resistance…Since the inner layer is made of olefi n, it is resistant to water-based Inks.● Gas Barrier…Excellent oxygen barrier leads to the reduction of ink deterioration and nozzle clogging.Also, this reduces the discharge failure due to the generation of bubbles of ink.

●Plasticizer-Free…E-WBT-UV does not contain plasticizer (an elution material) at all. E-WBT-UV is an oil-free tubing.●Non-PVC…E-WBT-UV is made of a non-PVC material.●UV Cut…UV Cut…By blocking ultraviolet, E-WBT-UV is suitable for transferring UV-based inks.※ Depending on the kinds of UV inks, E-WBT-UV might not be suitable. In this case, we recommend you tochoose E-SBT-UV.

●Green Procurement…E-WBT-UV is compliant with RoHS2 requirements (directive 2011/65/EU:RoHS2)

※Precautions for Use・This product is a tube for supplying ink. Please contact us if you are using a tube other than supplying ink.・ The material of the adhesive layer / barrier layer / outer layer is inferior in chemical resistance to the inner layer. Do not attachchemicals as they may cause swelling or cracking of the tubing when you insert fi ttings and use our tube.

・Due to the laminated structure tubing, please use the joints to seal an inner surface of the hose.・Please do not use the joints to seal an outer surface of the hose. This may result in the bursting or coming off from the hose.・When you use our products, please refer to "Precautions for Use" available on our webpage and product catalog.・In terms of chemical resistance, please refer to "Chemical Resistance Data" available on our webpage and product catalog.・ Please do not use fi ttings with scratches or rust on the surface of the nipple when using metal fi ttings. This will damage the innersurface of the tube, which may cause the tube to rupture or leak.

・ In case of using resin fi ttings, please do not use fi ttings with scratches on the surface of nipple. This will damage the inner surfaceof the tube, which may cause the tube to rupture or leak. Fluid may leak depending on the condition of the joint (parting line) of theresin joint. Please check fi ttings before you use.

● Reasons for the Need for Tubes with Excellent Oxygen BarrierIn recent years, the high performance of inkjet printers and diversifi cation of inktypes have enabled high-quality printed materials to be output to various media.The demands of ink and ink supply tubes, which maintain high quality printingoutput, have been increasing.If the oxygen barrier or water vapor barrier is low for the ink supply tube, oxygenand water vapor in the atmosphere permeate into the ink.This leads to the clogging of print head or ink discharge defect due to thegeneration of air bubble.Also, if the low oxygen barrier or water vapor barrier tube is used,solvent components of the ink inside the tube will evapolate, changing the inkquality.
