How it prints ? - Laser Printer Toner: a powder used in laser printers and photocopiers

to form the printed text and images on the paper.

Drum: the device that receives the image from the laser

and transfers it to the paper to produce the final print.

Fuser: melts the toner onto the medium (paper)

Besides the issue of Drum, we found there are

huge differences among prints from the same

original source

We set up six blocks with Pantone uncoated

codes in Adobe Illustrator CS 6 in iMAC(thanks

the assistance of Ray & Bright)

Yellow ( 109 UP) Purple (7663 UP) Green (7739 UP)

Red (7620 UP) Blue (2736 UP) Light Brown ( 467 UP)

Colour Print - Recommend After printed with different formats and software => None of

them are 100% matched the colours saw on screen or Pantone

colour book.

But we suggest every designer to save in Adobe Illustrator or

Photoshop files, and directly print out without change to other

formats. MS Window or Apple MAC would not impact a lot.

Network Change Notice This week we might do the change of Wireless

Router again…

Last time it caused everyone unhappy with internet access around 2-3 days.

And also for Yannick’s pocket.

So this time we would check and response more proactivly.

We would rollback to current setting if needed with the frequency of per hour monitoring.
