PRINTER
DOESN’T
PRINT?
CHECK THE
CONNECTIONS
Make sure that your printer
& all USB cables are
plugged in properly. If you
use a wireless printer, check
if the Wi-Fi connection is
good enough (or use a
cable).

ENSURE YOU'VE
SENT THE PRINT
REQUEST TO THE
RIGHT PRINTER
E.g. you may have clicked the "quick
print" option and your request got sent to
the default printer, which is, however,
not the one you want to use. To fix this,
choose which printer you want to use
when you are printing. Or, to allow quick
printing, set the printer you want to use
as the default printer.
CHECK PAPER,
INK, AND TONER Many printers go offline when
they run out of paper, toner, or
ink. Replace the supplies if
necessary.
If you’ve got more than enough
of those, make sure there’s no
paper jam or misfeed, which will
also lead to printer not working.

CHECK THE
DRIVERS Your drivers might have become
outdated or corrupted or you've
upgraded your operating system
without giving your driver an
equivalent update.

CHOOSE THE PORT
IN THE SETTINGS It is possible that the port specified in
driver setting is not the one which is
connected to your printer.
Make sure that in "Printer tab" of PCL6
printer driver, "Print to file" is set to
"Prompt for filename" or "Output to file".
If it isn't, choose "Print to file" to "Output
to printer".
