DefinitionBalance is defined as the consideration of
the visual weight of the objects within a picture
Types of BalanceSymmetric Balance – both sides of the
picture has equal amounts of weight
Line of Symmetry
Even Weight
Types of Balance cont.Radial Balance – both sides of the
picture are balanced, but radiate from a focal point.
Objects Radiate Outward
Focal Point
Types of Balance cont.Asymmetric Balance – One side has
more weight than the other, however, the sides are balanced
Most of the Weight
Rest of the Weight,Distributed on the other side
